In the past coaches wouldn't have had to address it. There were sons of bitches on the field with them that would have ripped them a new one for half assing. The culture was such that players DEMANDED 100% effort from every single player.

U fortunately that is not the play. FSU was going the opposite direction . Looked like he didn’t even know where the ball was and just jogged after the RB blew by him

The lackluster play and effort of the db group was one of the things that surprised me most. Even Hubbard spent most of the game diving at the runner’s ankles instead of tackling. What made him so good last year was his willingness to hit a guy.

Serious question - did we beat the piss out of each other the week before the game? It seems like people either were completely unmotivated or nursing injuries. I’m only questioning based on the late injury adds right before start of the season.

Pathetic. I would rather see Alabama put a 3 star guy or even a walk on out there that actually gives effort than watch a 4 or 5 star guy half-arse it.
