How unclutch are Golding’s defenses?

Pretty remarkable how they literally never rise to the occasion. Texas was able to drive the field for a FG. A&M went the length of the field and had a chance to win. Tennessee only needed 15 seconds. Now LSU.

Pretty remarkable just how gutless that is.

I would love to see a breakdown of Golding’s defensive stats on drives immediately following a go-ahead or tying score late in the 3rd or 4th quarter. It’s automatic.

This team ain't got what "it" is... no offense when needed, no defense when needed, no special teams when needed... I don't really know what else to say.

The defense assumes the identity of its coordinator.

Thus, we have a drunk arse, loser defense.

You must be a masochist. Really though, I would bet a large sum of money that you can count the number of times this has happened on one hand with fingers left over.

Our offense clearly has their own issues, but everytime we get a whiff of momentum, the defense buckles.

Yeah I've noticed it too. Offense makes a play and gets the lead? Goulding and co literally forget what planet theyre on

You don't love watching other teams storm the field? Damn man, what is wrong with you!

Its not just that.

Look at how we’re having teams drive on us. They have a couple plays we simply do not adjust to, and they just keep running them.

Is it Golding is to afraid to change anything? Or incapable?

Whoever this "Boz" character is he obviously knows nothing about the Alabama football team.

You had me convinced that this team was for real and would win out. They are nothing but soft, entitled wannabe's that will win nothing.

Unclutch? At no point during the game are Golding's defenses capable of stopping anyone. LSU moved the ball virtually at will all night

They are very “unclutch”. Zero play making in crucial situations.
But to be fair, they suck in “unclutch” plays too.
First and second down is equally atrocious

We brought back 8 starters on defense. eight!! i can't think of the last time a Bama defense returned 8 starters. yet somehow, nobody can beat a block. guys that i've seen get off blocks, can't anymore. 31 was unblockable last year. he didn't forget how to play football. here's what I know. 20 year olds don't regress as football players. 20 year olds don't regress at anything. You have to work really hard to make this level of player look as awful as they look.

Do our kids ever look confident? Does anyone ever look like they understand what's happening pre-snap or post? Never thought I'd say this. My beloved Tide looks wildly incompetent.
