Before this season ends we will be thankful to have all the players we have. Fatigue and injuries are a part of the game. Mo D proved that a guy who is shaky at the beginning of the season can be gold at the end. RTR

100%. It was a different guy every night (+ Sears consistently) that got us to the final four. The MoD game, the Grant Nelson game, the Pringle game with Stevenson/Griffen shooting us to the final four, etc.

There isn’t a single guy on the team so far that has truly hindered us. Everyone has contributed something. I continue to be impressed with Reid’s defense and he’s doing so much better not forcing things offensively

I'm waiting to see what Chris Youngblood can do.Experienced big strong guard that hopefully can play some of these guys like Cryer that have been hurting us. Not to mention shoot and score

This game was big not only because it’s a win against a good team but it shows how versatile the roster is. Sherrell only played 2 minutes and Philon missed all 9 shots.

Jarin Stevenson played well defensively and I'm willing to bet Houston never goes on that run with Jarin in the game.

Your hate boner for Stevenson is just weird at this point. He played 10 minutes. He wasn't a real factor. Why even mention him when there's so much more to talk about?

Why did Stevenson only play 10 minutes? He would have played more minutes if he had played defense well like Mo D or Reid, even if his shots didn't go in.

But he is not only a bad defender, but also has no scoring ability. That's why I want Mallette instead of Stevenson.

Stevenson will play a lot more tomorrow.

If he continues to show disappointing shooting efficiency, he won't even play 10 minutes.

Be curious to see if we use Reid and Mo D on Dylan Harper tomorrow defensively. He's a huge point guard

Who cares? The point is why even mention him? If Nate was insisting on playing him to the detriment of the team I'd get why you keep bringing it up. But he's not. His minutes are shrinking and he's not hurting the team. Let it go.

If Stevenson can make a 3s, I don't want Mallette. But Stevenson hasn't made a single 3s yet.

If his playing time is given to a better player, I have no criticism.

The coaching decision of the game was Nate putting Derrion Reid on Cryer in OT. Shut his arse down

If you filter Torvik to add 0 weight to preseason projections, they are ranked in the 120s

The biggest concern is that their uber talented freshmen put it all together

Sears, Holloway, Wrightsell, (Youngblood)

Philon

Stevenson, Nelson, Reid

More good shooters than most years. Should end up being one of Bama’s best yet. But don’t have to be to win a championship. Bama does a lot of things well.

Hopefully Mo gets his 20-25 min a night and it doesn’t have to be vs a “Houston” type team. He just makes one winning play after another and can score better than many realize. He might be the 3rd or 4th most valuable player on the team. And he’s got that NYC grit & mental toughness. Bama probably doesn’t get past GCU last year without him.
