...just beat a depleted OKla team and we would've been able to participate... beating Michigan proves nothing. Winning the GA game means nothing after pissing the playoffs down our leg with losses to Vandy, tennerC, and OKla.

the team that beat bama was horribly weak... their whole WR corp was out (5 of them), 4 OL out, RB out, as well as most of their starting DB. That loss sucks....a total black eye on the year.

They beat us comprehensively. A mediocre team.

All the crying about being left out of the playoff is embarrassing.

Fact is that if CNS was at the helm, there is no way we miss the playoffs. F me for not wanting to experience mediocrity. It doesn't get easier from here.

We dont know this. CNS needed a hail mary miracle to beat a losing record Auburn team last season. CNS also had 17 years of continuity. You cant judge the new coach the same as a guy whos been there almost 2 decades. Thats ridiculous. Its fair to expect a little more consistency in year 2...but Saban had bad losses in his first year as well

Just wondering, but did you just start following the football team starting in 2008? For us that have been around a while we know what mediocrity is....and brother, this ain't it. A lot of our fans are going to have to accept that we aren't going to dominate anymore year in and year out. Nobody will. I think it would be a good idea for everyone to temper expectations from here on out.

You sure about that? Because this exact team plus the 40 players who transferred or went pro was one play away from losing to two embarrassingly bad teams last year in Auburn and Arkansas... and had a one touchdown lead over South Florida entering the fourth.

Well in that case, Alabama beat Wisconsin by a larger margin than Oregon and Penn State combined... and also sacrificed another touchdown for the mercy knee.

Wisconsin's players outperformed Oregon. Their coach screwed it up.

I need to hear more about Bama being more deserving than Indiana and SMU....

...Bad losses with far less talent... don't sugar coat this coach's ineptness. We saw it all year. He looked like a deer in the headlights often. Mediocrity sucks.

We lost to three teams where we were double digit favorites. That is absolutely unacceptable.

Are you really going to bat for this coach?? Looks like single-digit win totals are in our future. We lost to f'n vandy for f-sakes...

Relax. #4 single handedly was responsible for 3 of the 4 losses.

Eventually the accountability has to fall on the head coach that never addressed #4's play. It is what it is. 8 wins with a 1st year qb next year will be a win, I guess.
