He has been fantastic since Halftime of the Kentucky game. Gotta give him credit

Agreed other than not feeding Crowell the football

Crowell is really green in the other aspects of the offense, so it is hard to give him a ton of snaps because Brown is a bit more adept in the pass protection concepts.
However, they do get him touches when they can and he delivers. Just hope he keeps on learning and can be more involved as the season progresses.

I don't know jack shite but I bet until #13 gets his pass protection shored up he's gonna continue to be used sparingly. When he's in it's pretty much a tell to the defense that he's getting the ball.

He spent basically the entire offseason - that Brown used to become RB2 in this offense - limited by injuries. Hopefully he can pick up things in-season and be a bigger factor late. I do believe Crowell is going to have to be a 10-15 carry back for this team to win championships.
Every once and a while, even a great offensive team, has to say "yeah, well, we have a Hulk" to borrow an Avengers line.

I don’t give a rats arse. He’s the most talented RB in the nation. He needs to get the football.
Edit: I apologize Diego if I came off like I was mad. I just see the talent and I believe it’s being wasted. They could give him 8-10 carries a game even if he can’t block

Glad you're not the coach.

He’d have 100 plus yards a game if I were. I did like how our offense used him as a decoy in the second half. He had almost 50 yards on 3 carries. I’d have given him 9 and he’d have 150

once he gets better in pass pro, he will see significant playing time.

Actually he would be facing loaded boxes so he wouldn't have anything near that.
Through film study our staff knows when they put Crowell on opponents key in on run.

Remember, if he has the football, he doesn’t have to block. You can also use him on play action, screens, put him in the slot and hand him the football. I’m hoping our offensive coordinator is just saving him for UGA. I get explaining these concepts to our fans, but a million dollar coach should know how to get a talented back like Crowell the football, without having to put him in a situation where he’s forced to block.

This offense is not going to ever run one back 35 times a game like Humphrey and Alexander. It’s not just about toting the football. But he will get his touches. DeBoer and Grubb know what they have. Chillax.

Unfortunately that means Crowell is going to get a lot of closing time and goal-to-go duty.
He can still be a big piece within that role but I don't think anything is set in stone. He can get more snaps if he can catch up on lost time during the camps.

Seems like a perfect time for a play action call.

We are averaging 50 points a game. I don’t give two shits how many yards he has.

I guess yall are content handing the ball to 4 even after he put the ball on the ground twice today for 4 yards a carry vs 16 for Crowell. We’re averaging 50 against bottom dweller defenses. I think he’ll need touches against UGA.

Who else is averaging 50 points per game?

Hill had five carries today. Five. It’s not like he had 15 carries.
