I think Young and Gibbs/McClellan are gonna get along famously. They are perfect fits for each other

I'm extremely excited about the 2 of them in this offense. Gibbs is going to absolutely pants people.

Gibbs and McClellan are going to be a very interesting tandem. Two all purpose backs. Gibbs has some of that power at the point of contact that is usually the calling card of the alpha back at Alabama.

It really changed the versatility of the offense when Jase went down this year. Became significantly more predictable. Hope he comes back 100% and Gibbs is as advertised.

Gibbs might not be Earl Campbell out there, but he has plenty of power. Plus defenders have a really hard time getting good hits on him. Overall, he's fantastic after contact

Gibbs is going to have an impact similar to what Jamo did IMO. He's another Kamara, Barkley (before all the injuries), or CMC who was stuck on an otherwise FCS level roster.

Just going to need an OC with a little bit of creativity. Those two could be matchup nightmares anywhere on the field.

Could see Gibbs and Jase both on the field A LOT. Which of your LBs has the assignment for which guy? Better figure it out quickly.

Absolutely - he was a huge piece those first 5 weeks. He logged 20+ snaps in every full game he played.

Miami
Jase - 23 snaps
B-Rob - 34 snaps

Florida
Jase - 23 snaps
B-Rob - 45 snaps

He was a big part of the offense.

Yea, because he played in relative obscurity on The Flats I'm not sure that people around college football or in this conference realize how dynamic a player he is.

He's going to take the damn country by storm. I wouldn't be shocked to see him on Heisman lists mid-season if our OL is decent. His all-purpose yardage is going to be nuts.

Assuming our OL is competent and he's our kick returner (he should be, because he's one of the best in the country) I would not be at all surprised if he puts up 2,000+ all purpose yards next year. He came close to it last year on one of the worst teams in the country.

If Nick can find some players at TE/HB that can play at a higher level, then all the levels of our passing attack will benefit.

Right now, I just hope that Jase will be 100% going into next season.

Only thing I'm slightly worried about for next year. Pulled it together last three games for the most part, but when box was loaded they still struggled in pass protection. Run blocking is nowhere near where it should be

I would rather not see Gibbs back there returning kicks unless the RB room looks healthy. Plenty of guys on this team with electric speed that can do the job. But in the same sentence, the majority of time we just take a knee

Either of Gibbs / McClellan should be a viable check-down or hot read when teams blitz us (as they should, a lot, at the beginning of the year).

No reason to keep them in for blocking purposes if Ouzts is healthy. A playcaller worth his salt should be able to seriously burn teams who blitz us in 2022.

Yep. Actually rewatched the natty last night. Bryce and Brob did a fine job with the little angle route. Maybe we will even incorporate screens again.
