This just drives me insane. It was fine to only play RW like 20 plays last week, but god forbid we bench our QB for even a single drive.

What do we think our original game plan was?

Play conservative, keep the score low and let the defense dictate the game.

Call me crazy but I would not be opposed to benching TY and seeing what Russell can do if TY come out flat in the 2nd half. The game is still in reach but if TY is off we have nothing to lose and who knows maybe he will be like Tua and save us.

Without turnovers in the second half I truly think we are capable of scoring 17-21 points. The defense is getting a rest and was starting to make some stops. We have a chance but it starts with a total change in game plan on this drive. This drive coming out of half is pivotal. We need to keep this game close.

The fact that people are saying they miss Milroe and wish he was playing is mind blowing
It’s insane that our current offense is even more one-dimensional than it was with Milroe, but it’s true.

simple things we can do to slow the game down for Ty?

Give him drugs? A couple shots of Jack to calm his nerves?

Could be a loyalty thing.
But for the team, you have to give a competitor a shot.
Also it would be a statement/ message to Ty about next year should he mulling about coming back.

He quit Ole miss and got fired by Saban for shopping while in a championship run. Stop being a belligerent idiot

It’s so obvious Ryan is primed for a big game. And it’s being wasted.

Former players, year long fans: what are back to basics, simple things we can do to slow the game down for Ty? We’ve had good protection.

You can't get much easier than that 3rd down throw with no pressure.

Throwing with 15 seconds on the clock on your own 5 yard line sums up this game

Well said.

If I’m Greg Byrne, I’m absolutely furious about this. Every peewee coach in the state of AL knows this is dumb. It makes him look foolish for hiring someone that doesn’t even understand basic football situations (still think he’s a good Xs and Os guy…we we’re up on UGA big last year and this year, so he knows his stuff in that).

Role him out to get some pressure off him, designed easy plays.

DeBoer should have been fired before he left the field at halftime.

I agree with this — rolling him out may help.

Either Simpson is panicking or he is hurt and unable to throw the ball downfield.

Oh give it a rest.

Is his injury why he can't throw an accurate 2-yard pass to his wide open RB???

Is his injury why he threw late over the middle resulting in a deflection and INT??

Is his injury why he stares down every WR??

That starts at QB. Love Ty but he can’t do it… I wished he’d come out and light them up like in Athens but no confidence that happens.

I'm wondering if we're capable of scoring a single TD at this point
