I may be in the ether but I think the delay hurts them more than us.
Again, FSU isn’t good but they are playing to save their coach’s job.That’s a motivation to play over your heads although we are absolutely making it easier for them.

No idea why, but CKW is playing M2M coverage almost exclusively….he has been phenomenal using their “spot drop” coverage has led to a top10 passing defense each of the past two seasons.
I was worried that CKW would be convinced to play more M2M. If it’s not broke then why try and change it?
Especially against a mobile QB….man coverage is allowing him to pick out his favorite matchup pre-snap and doesn’t have to “read” the coverage bc the QB knows it’s 1-on-1.
Also, it’s KILLING their run defense on the perimeter. FSU is motioning from the boundary to remove the alley defender bc he’s having to follow the motion across the field.
I sure hope CKW ditches the man coverage and goes back to his bread-n-butter (disguising single-high coverage) and setting the edge by actually having the alley defenders having eyes on the QB/backfield instead of on the WR.

FSU is able to both pressure KR and keep him in the pocket. We can’t block them but hopefully, he can find some running lanes to burn them and slow them down.
