I know its a long stretch.. but yes.. I think everything has a price. But a poster said earlier that IU was Mark Cubans college and also had the largest alumni base in college... meaning more money than what Bama could come up with. So what I want would probably only be a wish come true.

I’m not sure who is an upgrade over Deboer. Lanning lost last week to unranked team. Sark isn’t leaving. Kirby isn’t. Cristobal isn’t. Cignetti isn’t. Day isn’t.
We are extremely frustrating to watch but I cannot think of anyone to replace him with.

Yeah this didn’t happen. Source: my ears. Was there for 6+ hours. Crowd had great energy after the delay when the team came out with their hair on fire. Like all aspects of life, the internet is not representative of the whole.

Im actually curious to know why you think Bama wouldn't have hired him after Saban left. He was a Saban desciple and helped Bama win a national championship. Saban has always had nothing but praise for him.

Not who you were responding to but it seems very likely they wanted a big name hire. His HC experience consisted of being at James Madison. Successful stint there but still a G6 school. I don’t think the boosters would’ve gone for it. There was probably worry Bama would lose too many players (recruits included) if it wasn’t a big name hire

Guys. The chant happened. I made a comment to our group when it happened.
7:05 left in the second quarter. Right after the back to back wide out throws. Go watch the broadcast and you can hear it in the background of the announcer talking about the fans booing.

You realize it was 100+ with 2.5 hours of extra time sitting in the sun with nothing happening today?
The fact that so many fans stayed and yelled after basically sitting through two games in that weather is a major accomplishment.
I can tell you at places like LSU half the stadium would’ve been empty for the 2H.

I was surprised at how loud it was given the fact that it was only at maybe 75% capacity by kickoff and the fact that the heat had already beat everyone down. One of the loudest games I've been to in years.
Even a lot of the Florida State fans sitting in my section left before kickoff and they're from fricking Florida... It was bad.

if it’s the student section it’s probably some drunk guys in the fraternity section behind the goalpost
I heard some pretty dumb chants over the years I was in there and usually it was upset drunks in our group or others

Cig is 65 years old and just won a natty lol. That IU job is his final stop before retirement in ~5 years
