Passing

189-287 (65.8%) 2,652 yards 15 TDs 10 INTs.

Rushing

152 carries 719 yards (4.7 YPC) 20 TDs

These would be solid numbers if not for the turnovers and the inconsistencies in his passing game.

Those numbers speak to a regression in the passing game this season, which is his fault but also the fault of the offensive coaches. Tommy Rees, with very similar WR skill talent, got more out of him than Sheridan and DeBoer. Either way, I think we all hoped for him to take some steps forward but it has never happened.

It seemed he was a turnover machine this year. I don't recall him turning the ball over as much last year. Wonder what changed?

Last year he had way more sacks, this year he had more turnovers. Both are evidence of what everyone with eyes has said is the problem; he cannot read a defense.

I dont think the passing game "regressed" because the overall stats are slightly less. To be fair, we have had a lot of drops this year(and one long TD called back for a bs illegal touching). Milroe is just maybe topped out. His completion percentage is nearly identical. He still fricks up in the clutch. He cant read the end on a zone read. It's a repeat of the guy he was last year.

The part i cant understand is they say he gets to the facility every day before any of the other players. So what the frick is he doing in there? Playing ping pong? Taking a shite? Practicing his TD celebrations? He definitely isnt in there watching tape with the OC or working on his footwork.

The passing breakdown is horrendous anyway you cut it honestly. 2500 yards and a 1.5 touchdown/pick ratio with Ryan Williams and a few other future NFL guys is incredibly bad

We gave him more leeway in the offense with less dumbed down stuff and took a step back through the air. Looking at his efficiency stats we went from 10.65 adjusted yards per attempted to 8.61, despite a drop in sacks which drag it down to begin with.

His biggest problem is he's just not a gamer. No guts. No instincts.

this i agree on. He's an athlete that can throw a deep ball. He hasn't developed that qb instinct... only run or throw it deep.

So much for proving he wasn't just some athlete playing QB and is a pocket passer like Bryce. His rushing stats would have been even better if he hadn't painted himself into this corner and forced throws when they weren't there. Best example of this was against Tennessee.

If he'd tuck and run when it's obviously the best option instead of looking for the deep ball after everyone has finished their routes, his interception stats would be lower.

He has always had a fumbling problem on top of the INT's.

If we're being honest he'd have a couple more TDs if his WR and Dippre could catch the ball.

He would also have a couple less INTs if Dippre didn't tip drill a TD pass, Kobe Prentice actually blocked and Ryan didn't get lazy on a route

Still an inconsistent guy who so mentally fragile anything can "upset" him and turn him into being Bad Milroe. Also struggles badly away from home

15/10 is unacceptable.

Now throw in his fumbles lost.

If, if and if. Hoping and wanting stats to be different doesn’t change the reality that we now have 2 full years of data on Milroe.

He is still a turnover machine. Whether it’s a fumble or an untimely INT or a stupid sack, Milroe simply DOES NOT manage the game well at all. He is wildly inconsistent. Being consistent is pretty much the main prerequisite for being QB.

This is why we have had so many struggle games. Every time we take the lead or have an opportunity to step on an opponents throat, Milroe steps on his own throat.

He's not a qb and he's a turnover machine. It is what it is. Hopefully he moves on after this season. I hope some NFL team is dumb enough to draft him high. Kiper has him as his 3rd best qb in the draft
