For everyone complaining about not taking the top off Georgia, that's how Georgia played. Forced checkdowns and assumed smaller boxes could remove the run.

Damn even he was pissed that none of Bama’s OL seemed to give a shite about Ty getting knocked down after the flag

They probably want him benched too.

I also wanted him benched at that point
But the point is, that’s an example of that offense being soft. You can’t be both lost and soft. Either soft or they just don’t care which is yet another problem

As so many of us saw during the game. That 3rd down play would have went for a huge gain but Rico Scott blew it.
He runs past the CB and leaves him free to come up and make the tackle and goes for the safety. Absolutely dummy.
Irony is the first two plays their safeties are 11 yards from the line of scrimmage. When it was 3rd in long they got back 20 yards.
This is the consistent them. Every opponent knows to bring their safeties down to clutter the middle and kill the run then drop one back on 3rd in long.

At 17:00 Brooks is bragging about their DBs but again, what happened was Kirby had them play one on one and Brooks was open.
That is a 2 or 3 step drop and throw to Brooks to run under. He's open.. it's right there. You have to make the throw though

Go to 27:00
At this point Kirby has those safeties in a bubble 9-10 yards away from the line of scrimmage. When Ty sees the zone, why in the world would he come of his first read so late to throw to the middle??
You know the play right????
You have a TE outleting late who would have gain 20+ yards and you had all the time to use your eyes to get the defense to stay middle-right then hit the TE as he slipped out to the left.
That play right there was the game.
If he does what every QB is coached to do and doesn't just panic, we have a big gain an probably tie it putting pressure on Stockton. Instead we gave them even more momentum.
These are the key plays which determine a game and those are the ones which cost us. You have to blame coaching as well because how the hell is Rico Scott dumbass running past the CB to block a safety 25 yards deep on an end around? The execution at times just fails us and it is always one person making a mistake to unravel an entire play

I understand though. He isn't an Alabama fan so he's taking his winning stroll and gloating.
If we made a couple throws, catches and blocks he wouldn't be so boisterous lol

Enjoy the hell out of stuff like this. One thing I liked about Cowherd's show was Sanchez's breakdown of QB play. Sucks he did some drugs and lost it.
That first play is just about everything you have to know.

2nd play, RT gets pushed back into the pulling TE and he can’t/doesn’t make the block. Not a game changer but that’s the stuff I keep seeing on Saturdays. Someone gets beat or blows an assignment and play is negative or minimal.

Critiquing Bama offense is like shooting fish in a barrel in this game. I could only make it 21 mins in before had to cut off.

Yeah I hear you Brooks but you're only talking because you know we only look this bad for a main reason. If we can fix that you guys are screwed just like the first game.
I will repeat, it is one main issue that if we sort out we will win it all.
Well two with our terrible ST play

If I’m the coaches, I’m posting all these in the locker room & also limiting interviews the next 10 days. This team needs to limit their talking and come out on fire against OU.

Not fixing this shitty offense. I expect to see same schemes
Posted on 12/8/25 at 8:02 pm to Bamafan24
The problem with people thinking players are going to fix things is that the offense is just not built for smarter defenses with top end talent. Too fricking aggressive hunting for big chunks in the pass game. Good SEC defenses will punish your arse for being as greedy as these offensive coaches.
DeBoer needs to go into a bunker this offseason and review everything and look for answers outside what he knows. What got him to Alabama has reached its expiry. Going to have to be smarter on offense philosophically.

Running a trick play that gets blown up by speed against a speed defense while up 17-0 and you just got the ball is one of the dumbest football decisions I’ve ever seen..,well, except throwing the ball from your own end zone with 20 seconds left and non-existent pass game. We’re 2 for 2 on all time dumb calls in the last 2 games. For the love of all things holy, please let’s not make this 3 for 3 on Dec 19.
