Sounds like he is gone, wish him the best. Hopefully he gets his family stuff straight

My point exactly.

I never did that. THIS is why no one likes your low IQ, yet condescending, attitude. Go frick yourself.

Eyabi Anoma's current twitter profile says: "F.A.D.E.S DE/OLB John 3:16 [prayer emoji]. #9 linebacker [100 emoji]. [more emojis] Believe and trust the process"

And shows his location to be on a plane from Maryland to Alabama. His public profile includes lots of Bama pictures in it.

But don't let this logic and evidence stop this meltdown. Melt on, frickers.

Oh, so you follow the kid's twitter, pretend everyone else who doesn't is clueless, and act like a cocksucker, THEN post the twitter. Jesus Christ, you're the definition of a goddamn loser.

You don't know what 'objectively' means. Or 'factual'.

Also, for you to say that, you'd have had to have been in Anoma's physical presence, as well as been around the Bama progam intimately. I have to say, I'm jealous of your behind-the-scenes access.

I believe you did exactly that.

C'mon, man. The low IQ insult isn't even believable. Would you like to take another swing at that one? You can have a Mulligan, no worries. I believe you can do better - I believe in you!

But you seem upset. Would you like to talk about it?

I don't have a twitter account, and never have. I follow no one. All of that info is public access.

You are obviously both mentally retarded and irrationally angry. I'm sorry that happened to you. My condolences.

Yes, THAT'S why you waited 4 pages to post that info.

It's okay that you're a low IQ douchebag that wants desperately to have inside sources. No one on this board or any other is going to like you any more for that pretense. You are simply, legitimately, an arse.

Feel free to keep searching out twitter for some "secret" nuggets, though.

From what I've seen most posters are jumping to rash, unwarranted conclusions. A few like prevatte33 and TideWarrior have not. At least prevatt33 had the good sense to and took the time to check out his twitter in an effort to learn what may be going on with him. Based on what I saw on his twitter it appears his father is extremely ill and perhaps near death, which could account for him taking a break from Summer-2 classes. I've mentioned that but it's largely been ignored -- apparently because it would expose all of the premature judgemental shite that's been posted for exactly what it is.

Aww, bless your heart.

So fans shouldn't be concerned about the most connected Alabama sports journalist reporting that a very important player with a history of not showing complete buy-in wasn't enrolled in July?

You don't believe that.

A COUPLE of posters might have done that. Most of us did a simple google search of Anoma that showed his prior complaints, entry into the transfer portal, and non-student status and speculated, reasonably that this COULD be heralding his departure. It's not rash, given any of those details. In fact it's more likely than the alternative.

Almost no one wants him gone, and only a handful of posters went so far as to say the did.

And, as I stated earlier, not everyone searches a twitter history, and normal people (who claim not to follow twitter) would never deign to whip out an "AH HA!" moment with a twitter post, as prevatt did. His abundance of ego, coupled with lack of intellect are astounding.

Fans should be smart enough not to have knee-jerk reactions and evaluate all the evidence before downing an Alabama player for no good reason.

As of this sentence, there's much more evidence that everything with Anoma is completely fine than evidence to the contrary.

Also, these players are human beings with lives, not automatons built for your entertainment.

There was no 'A-ha' moment. I gave the info as soon as I found it, which due to your insecurity, you were offended by. You've been quite a pathetic figure late in this thread.

Quick question, though: were you born preemie - like way early? Because you seem like you needed another couple months of 'evolution' inside your momma.

By the way, if you google 'eyabi anoma twitter' and click the first link, it gives you all the info I posted. No login or snooping necessary. And it took about 15 seconds.

But keep being offended by it. It's a good look for you. You wear it well.

Not one person has expressed concern about his father or those who love him. They're too busy arguing and insulting each other.

Why would they? It doesn't fit their "my fandom is the most important concern" narrative. To them, Anoma isn't a person - he's simply a body with the number 9 on it. And it's shameful.

Seriously, though. I lost my mother young. It's tough. I hope the kid is ok. If he can keep it all together, he seems made for superstardom. Few seem as hungry as he seems. And when you put that hunger alongside elite physical talent - look out!

No clue what is going on with the kid. That said, I’ve been following Cecil long enough to know he doesn’t do random crap for no reason or just to generate clicks. He is no Finebaum or Scarbinsky. He had info, and called UA because of a source. Anoma may still be with the team come next week, but something was off enough for Cecil to not only do some digging but publish a story.

I don't disagree with you here. The fault comes in when fans jump to conclusions and hate on the kid pre-emptively, questioning his commitment to the team and the like, which happened earlier in this and another thread.

My problem with Cecil is his purposeful writing of an incomplete story, knowing full well how it would be taken by many. It was written so as to be a dangling unknown negative and referenced his being in the portal months ago, rather than digging in to the story and publishing the explanation. If I, a non-journalist, can uncover a wealth of info by only using google and 2 minutes of my time, isn't it irresponsible journalistically not to do the same and tell the complete story?

Just because Cecil's actions are defensible from a certain perspective doesn't preclude my right to lower my opinion of him when viewing it from all perspectives.

There is the problem with Cecil and many of these reporters. They need followers and to do so they need stories with headlines. When the story is incomplete they write it with a negative narrative which nowadays gets more bites. He is no different then some of our fans who see him as a football player and nothing more. As TS mentioned no one cares about what possibly could be going on with this kid and his family and neither does Cecil.
