Drew looked really good yesterday. Seemed as though he was where he was supposed to be the whole game. His play hurt us during the FL game but his play vs Ole miss was outstanding.

Needs to put on a little weight, gets overpowered sometimes, but he’s been getting better for sure

He's been one of our best players all season

He's been very good and you can tell he's nowhere near his ceiling. He had some pass rush juice that can't be taught and is not afraid to stick his nose in there.

Bingo...the kid has football savvy and is very willing to stick his nose in the fight. Wish he was just a little quicker.

Every game he makes plays. Overshadowed by 31 but Drew is all over it so far.

He seems to be getting better every game. Still a lot of room for improvement, but that’s true for anyone in any field. I really enjoy the emotion he plays with. We’ve been missing that.

Real blue collar, lunch pail type guy. I wonder if his dad happened to coach.

Heard an interview with Drew's high school coach.
When asked about Drew, coach said he'd have have to sit Drew some during scrimmages so the offense could gain some rhythm.
Said his motor never stopped, gave 100% every play in practice/ game.

Guy is already plenty quick. He needs to improve on tackling. But I’m glad Bama has him.

I’ve been thoroughly impressed with him he has stepped up in a big way. Seems like he was all over the place yesterday.

I recall our MLBs and Hellams hurting us against Florida, Sanders not so much. Sanders made the key play on UF’s two point attempt…and on the option plays to the outside, he consistently took the QB but the MLBs responsible for the pitch man were either late or taken out…unlike when the one outside option Ole Miss tried on 4th down, Sanders took the QB to force the pitch and To’o To’o was there to clean up, taking out the pitch man…

He also misplayed a few option plays early in the fl game. But he has improved with more playing time. He defended the same play vs ole miss properly. He has a high ceiling I believe.

He seems to be in the right place most of the time. He gets to the ball quickly.

I was concerned after week 1. I thought he was too hesitant. But every week he's looked more comfortable. The action tends to come to his side for obvious reasons. But he does a good job stringing out runs and covering the flat. I hope in time he starts to make more of an impact as a pass rusher. Overall I'd give him a B minus through 5 games.

If I recall, during his recruitment many thought that he would end up at TE after letting him take a shot at OLB. He was really good at both positions in HS.

He decommitted from Oklahoma because he didn't want to play TE in college and the Sooners didn't see him as a LB.

Which is hilarious because he has the look of a guy who could be an All-SEC type player next season. He's making huge strides in run D every week, so if the pass rush ever comes along he will be a monster.
