Will Anderson is back next year too. He's gonna be unreal.

Crap. Ole Miss hurt us in terms of player injuries. Anyone know when in the game it happened?

We are very fortunate to have a guy like Dallas Turner just waiting his turn. At most any other program he would have been a humongous pick up and there would have been pressure for him to start week 1. I think a lot of our fans dont even realize how good this dude is.

Is it just me or do we seem to have more than our fair share of injuries?

Drew had surgery on his injury. Hard to believe he'll only be out a week.

There are a lot of injuries now that they have procedures for surgically. A lot of these we used to never hear about because guys would play though them or wait till off-season to recover.

The ankle sprain surgery that Tua had is pretty awesome

All a matter of pain tolerance. Julio had a plate and screws put in his hand in 2010 and didn't miss a game if I recall correctly.

From Reddit:

Source from Tider Insider, this guy has been accurate throughout the last 5 years On Drew Sanders... TI 2021-10-06 11:34:48 was told on Monday the injury (thumb ligaments) was "worse" than originally thought. On how long he'll be out, I've been told up to six weeks, which means that it might not be that long.

So it could be possibly longer then 1 week unless this is wrong

I tore ligaments in my thumb. Granted, this was the 80’s and I didn’t have access to immediate surgery, but it took forever to heal. I was in a cast for over a month, the PT for several weeks.

Don’t a lot of defensive players play with a club after hand surgeries? Why can’t Sanders do the same? I mean the hand is completely protected in that giant thing. I can see missing a week or two…after that club it up and let’s go.

Yeah, it's probably just a pain tolerance thing by that point. When I tore ligaments in my thumb, it was by far the most painful injury I've ever had, so maybe his isn't that bad if he kept playing Saturday. I wanted someone to knock me out the pain was so bad. But I also had a tiny hairline fracture so that may have been the main source of the pain.

Give him the week off and then put him in a cast for games and give him a toradol shot an hour before each game
