I care.

The Mac Jones era has begun.

Ohio State was missing it's star QBs. That's plural. Ohio State was down to their third string QB and still were selected over TCU and Baylor

We are leading the country in starting freshman at 9 and the next most is 7. It pretty impressive will all the injuries before the season and not late in the season that we are still technically alive to make the playoffs. I can't image what it was like at halftime today. I think they is what played a huge roll in how we played in the second half.

They also beat Wisconsin 59-0 in the BIG 10 CG. We aren’t a conference champ. They also weren’t injury riddled at defense. That’s a huge difference people keep glossing over.

Also got to remember that season, the Big 12 didn’t have a conf CG and declared both TCU and Baylor co-champions

The future is bright. Injuries have just killed us this season. It happens. It isn't anyone's fault and the fact that we are still in the running for the playoffs is unreal

Yes and that is why I am not as down on the coaches as others are in here. Everybody has their opinion and I am fine with that but these coaches have been dealt a bad hand with injuries and transfers this year and to lose one game to a very good team by 5 points so far is not bad in my book

we lost our top 2 ILBs before the season started. We lost our 2nd string running back before the season started. It's amazing

Need more than that without Tua.

I'm just using the "quarterback is out" example.
Even with what you said, Ohio State was chosen, not on the basis of a QB in 14. Every year presents something different

I know what you're saying, but we already had our schedule working against us. The only credit we got, was for the way we were beating teams.

Don’t think I’ve ever felt this deflated after a win.

Adversity is part of life. It's how you respond to adversity that shapes you and defines you. Just pray for them, especially the guys who suffer serious injuries.

It just been a rough 2 weeks. Coming off the lose to LSU with all the mistakes and then today Tua and other injuries after the ones we lost before the season is just deflating and you hate it for the kids.

Ohio State still had Zeke Elliot, a 3rd string QB built like the 2nd coming of Cam Newton and a solid defense including Joey Bosa I think. What do we have? A group of NFL wide receivers and a game manager to try to get them the ball. Najee has really come on strong lately but he hasn’t shown he can shoulder the team and carry them alone. And not much else. Not really comparable.

I notice you got downvoted a couple times. Guess a couple people in this thread can't handle the truth. I love bama but you can love bama without being blind to the truth of the situation.

After thinking on it over the weekend, I don’t think this team has counted themselves out just yet. If anything I think they are going to rally around Tua and we are going to see a much different (pissed off) team in two weeks on the plains.

Absolutely not. I get being realistic about expectations, but our team still has goals in mind, and are still looking forward, while some, like the OP, have given up. These guys are busting their arse, sacrificing their bodies, like Tua, and they need our full support. Never give up.

I agree, after taking the weekend I’m tired of this “we can’t make it” shite. Alabama is a school of victors, we can beat Auburn and we can make the playoffs. The team isn’t quitting that’s a fact.
