I've been watching football for almost 50 years and I've never seen that many serious injuries in 1 game. It was painful and disturbing to watch. The playoffs don't matter to me anymore. The team probably couldn't represent themselves well anyway. The injuries have gone from crippling to catastrophic today. We might not make it anyway since there's no guarantee we beat Auburn. Today reminds us there's more important things sometime than the games we all enjoy. I'm just sick. Prayers to all the injured players and their families. Roll Tide, y'all and remember what's important. #Prayers4Bama

Keep the rest of the boys healthy, finish out strong with a win over AU and a Sugar Bowl win and ride that into the offseason

Can't win it all every year boys

Agreed. I'm ok with just trying to win out any way we can and look ahead to next year.

Agree

Beat Auburn, anything else is whatever. But most importantly, beat Auburn.

You think the players don't care? How about Tua? You think he doesn't care?

I get your point, that there are more important things. But the best thing that this team and staff can do right now is to rally around Tua and each other and ride this thing as far as possible.

With all due respect...what in the ever loving frick? Did you ever think that maybe this team rallies around Mac and goes down there and kicks their arse? We've still got 4 NFL receivers and an NFL running back. All we need offensively is for Mac not to suck, and defensively to just play with some discipline. We can beat Auburn, and with a little help, we absolutely can get in the playoffs.

And those who think we'd just get blown out in the playoffs, you can just keep that shite to yourselves.

I’d love to pull it off too but it’d be a miracle. Also OSU had a very intact defense unlike our injury riddled one.

I'm not anti-playoffs or anything, I just want to be absolutely laser focussed on the only thing that matters : beating Auburn.

The rest of this stuff is outside of our control, and if it doesn't happen and we beat Auburn and go 11-1 with no playoffs I'd be happy with the season.

Which is just as it was before...before today, before LSU. Laser-focused on the next opponent.

This is ridiculous. I'm sorry that Tua got hurt. But this is the same shite we laughed at Texas for whining about when Colt got hurt. Remember we ridiculed them about putting all their eggs in their QB basket? frick this self-pitying , "Oh,no! Our QB is hurt!" nonsense. Pick up your pack, strap on your gear and keep fighting.
I never thought the Bama fanbase was riddled with so many wilting Nancys.

Well said.

This fricking bullshite is beyond pathetic. Those kids are going to be working their asses off. You'd think they'd have a fan base that would rally behind them and give them the goddamned support they deserve.

Told my wife the same thing a few minutes ago. I could care less how the rest of this football season shakes out. The thought that Tua may never be able to play football again with his ability is sickening to think about. Praying that the injury isn’t career ending for the young man.
