I'm with you, I need to see it to believe it.

Program culture and mentality starts in the weight room. If a little less science meant a little more hollering I'd be good with that. It's seems like a lifetime ago that an underdog Alabama heard before a road trip to Athens that they were wearing black because they're going to a motherfrickin funeral.

I don't really care what the guys look like, I want to see them flying around hitting. Week 1 last year was a disasterclass in physicality. The data can say you got 20% more explosive, but if you don't have the mentality to apply that on Saturdays it doesn't matter a lick.

I was talking about him staying next year. Unless Bama is offering some crazy amount of money for him stay (e.g. $3 million and I don't see that happening), he would be crazy to stay. Like I said, he could start at probably 90% at the schools out there. If he leaves, I just hope he doesn't choose an SEC school. I'd hate like hell to have to face him.

I just don't know what people have seen from Mack when he's been in actual games that would make them worry about him transferring.
When Mac Jones went in when Tua went down, I saw a future starter. I haven't seen that with Mack. Granted, he's had limited opportunities, but again, not sure where the worry comes from.

At least with KR you can have unwarranted optimism based on hype. If he gets in there and looks like crap, so be it, Mack comes in...but I think you have to ride with KR out of the gate.

Granted, haven't seen a single fall practice. Whatever the decision is, hopefully it's made pretty soon. I like when a QB can truly take ownership of the team as its unquestioned leader.

The snaps KR had last year were like when Young got in the game in 2020 or Jones subbing in for Tua in 2019 for me.

I saw a guy who was going to be a top end QB one day.

Edit: Forgot Tua in 2017 regular season too.

2017 Tua was unlike anything I've ever seen from a backup QB. Him and those WRs were must-see TV every week.

Really nothing will probably ever be like it again because nobody can blow mofos out like our 2017 squad anymore because the new clock rules and the inability to stack that much talent.

We'd be up so much early with the first string that we'd have to keep on running regular offense with the backups just to keep the team engaged. Nobody wants to plunge up the middle for 3 quarters of a game.

Are you the big man in the white jacket or pullover who walks in front of the double doors while Mack’s pass is in progress?

If you look at the very beginning of the video to the right of Mack as he throws is a taller guy in a white hat and a red shirt standing against the wall. A lady in a green dress is in front of him. She’s pretty but mean.

Then as Mack starts to throw it I walked toward the camera so I could base my entire opinion on who should start on a pass to a 11 year old like any good armchair scout.

Edit: Not the guy holding the baby. The one all the way against the wall

Mack didn’t even five the kid who bailed him out with the grab.

I’m team Russell but I did think it was cool of Mack to throw with the kids. About 2 plays before that he got picked off by a 10 year old and I told my wife “someone will be posting online tonight as an insider saying Mack struggles against even short DBs”

Meadows is shockingly tall. Like I think we all know he’s tall but he’s somehow taller than you think.

Like Keelon Russell is 6’3 and I come up to his forehead and then Meadows walks up and you need a step ladder.

Mack is tall too but Meadows it’s different. He’s like a damn Stretch Armstrong doll with his limbs. Got to talk to him a bit about his high school stadium(Bishop Gorman). I floated over it once in a hot air balloon and he thought that was cool
