Not only were they playing horrible offenses, they had their signals.

Nah, just the best sign stealing operation.

Honestly this game feels like a throwback to one of those 2011-2015 Les Miles LSU teams.

Stylistically I agree.

But they don’t have anywhere close to the NFL talent those LSU teams usually did.

Doesn’t mean they aren’t a great and very well coached defense, but player for player they aren’t 2011 LSU.

Iowa is beyond bad on offense. Their defense is good but I don’t think that they could score on Michigan if they played three straight games against them.

To be fair, there's probably high school defenses in Alabama that Iowa couldn't score on.

On a related topic, Ohio State’s quarterback just entered the transfer portal.

Unfortunately that probably means they are getting Moore or Ward out the portal.

Michigan has given up 34 or more in their last 4 bowl games, all losses.

The surface at the Rose Bowl is kept very low and allows for speed to be applied almost like playing on artificial turf.

This is why I come here...for little tidbits of info like this.

How can we tell? Haven’t like half, or more, of the offenses they faced ranked higher than 100 in offense

In terms of pure talent I think that Texas and Texas A&M were better but Michigan is very good.

With the exception of their play against tOSU, how would anyone know?

It's hard to tell since they haven't been tested. TOSU is not its usual offensive juggernaut.

I think it will be a very physical game. It should be fun to watch.

OSU isn't that great anyway. They're 20th in yards per play against FBS teams, 27th against ranked teams. They're 24th in scoring offense against FBS and 45th in scoring against ranked teams.

Bama is scoring 30 ppg against AP ranked teams, which is 12th in the country and also comes against 5 teams, more than anyone else frank in the top 20.
