Yes. But if he has an equally productive season to better he is gone after that. No more than his contract imo. He's a HC. Just needs to learn from the best

Obviously, just a guess, but I'll say one more year.

Yes.

Or let me put it this way:

Name a better job he can get.

Probably.

Anything worth while will be long gone while he's coaching for the playoffs. He'd have to be hating it at Bama to leave for a dinky HC job.

The way he was talkin' at the Broyles ceremony, I'd say yes...he mentioned 'bout how Drake was a Reggie Bush type player and how good it'd be to have him back next year...

This is the last pay of repairing his reputation. Proving he can keep his word. With the athletes Bama has the offense will be fine as long as he is here. Showing that he well keep a commitment is all he lacks. At least one more year.

one more at least. I love having him on the sidelines as he is the perfect laid back balance to Saban. He's a cool mofo!

I think he will be here next year, but I have a hard time seeing him be here after that if our offense is as prolific. He owes Saban big time as he was able to come here and lick his wounds while reminding everyone he is a very talented offensive mind.

ETA: Does anyone think he will stay on the sidelines next year? I actually like him there to be able to calm down the QB, but I understand coordinators wanting to be in the skybox.

Agreed one more year. Coker with an extra year to work with Kiffin should be pretty darn good, and we have tons of skill players. Truth is, Kiffin is a better OC than a HC--nothing wrong with that, I just don't think his pride will let him accept it. He really needs 4-5 years with a guy like Saban to have a chance as a HC at a big school, but doubt he's that patient.

Yes...Saban usually asks for at least a two year commitment from his assistants.

I don't think he is so quick out the door. He would be well served to to work for Nick a few years and learn from the master. If we ride his offense to a couple of nattys, people will forget about his previous fiascos and he will get another h.c. job somewhere.

I don't think he is quite the hot commodity you all do.....I don't think too many top jobs like USC or the Riaders would consider him right now...some second tier Div 1, thats desperate, yeah probably......

If he comes back I think it will be because he feels good about our quarterback situation going into next year....his stock is high enough right now to get a solid mid major offer. If he has a good year next year, he will get a power 5 conference offer.
