This offense is going to be run heavy. If we look at the RB room we have Mclellan, Williams, Haynes as our top three running backs and there is 3 or 4 more sitting behind them. On top of that if Milroe starts he runs as well. Let me guess " you can't run the ball if the passing game doesn't open it up." Glad you brought that up we have a stable of WR so if your saying that out of 19 WR that we cant find 2 that can step up to the plate then we are in much bigger trouble. We have Burton coming back, Bond, Law, Prentice, Brooks, and Shazz Preston my man we are going to be just fine. We will have one of the top defenses if not the top defense. offensive line is growing with each practice. I have no worries.

I really don’t think Earl and Leary were misses. They were under utilized under BOB. I believe they will flourish at their new schools. We really don’t think about how much O’Brien hurt our team.

Very possible.

this is pretty much how I feel. Maybe a little bit more cautiously optimistic, but optimistic nonetheless.

Don't sleep on Ty Simpson, and especially Buchner as far as running ability as well.

Ty Simpson loves to run, and he's pretty effective.
Buchner is a legit dual threat - he's about the same speed as johnny manziel

All three can definitely run.

Milroe is just at the deer level. Hell he might be a bit faster than last year actually.

If I had a concern it would only be at the QB position that's it I would just like to know what they are thinking.

Local legend is that at twelve Milroe ran down and caught a three year old buck.

Why does no one (including the troll who started this thread) mention Niblack ? Saban is very high on him and we have seen him working with the first team.

Idk, JoJo did not look like his tape at Alabama.

I can’t deny it was impressive that he got on the field as a freshman but from the first time I saw a ball thrown his way(meaning the camera showed him in action) I thought to myself “holy shite, he’s legitimately slow and not agile compared to what I was expecting.”

His HS tape was truly unbelievable. He was not dynamic AT ALL with the ball in his hands at Alabama. I think Leary has some promise.

I’m also not high on Brooks at all. He looks like an elite #3 possession receiver to me. If he needs to be a #1 you’re in trouble on the biggest stage.

Bond and Law could be good but now we’re talking NEEDING them to be good to just be a nice receiving group. That’s scary af.

What the hell happened with Prentice last season? He was soooo solid the first few games it seemed. Reminded me of Damien Harris at WR. Nothing INSANE but did everything right, was always open, and was great at scooting between defenders to pick up 4-8 extra yards by playing smart and going north/south. Then it seemed like he disappeared.

He was hurt but it wasn’t published kind of like Lawson. Nagging injury.

How do you figure? He was hurt all year and transferred. Wouldn’t shock me at all if he turns into a stud for LSU.

Not to mention the best kicker in the league and the returning punter/PKholder.

Weird how no one ever mentions this. Major advantage for Alabama. Also, we have Kool Aid returning punts, which is one of the best return men in the country.

These guys would've had a panic attack if they had been on TideSports back in the day. There were some posters that were complete doom & gloom, but they were the biggest Alabama fans around.

This is the truth if I’ve ever seen it. I remember Dd4Bama getting roasted on there. Some even accused him of being a closet AU fan or troll but dude was as much of a Bama fan as anyone.

It has more to do with how it’s presented. Nobody wants to read a No Hope The Sky Falling arse thread 20 days before the season. 95% of this board has said all offseason that a few receivers must step up

“BROOKS SUCKS, BURTON SUCKS, BOND SUCKS, JASE SUCKS, GIBBS SUCKED” is just superfluous and unnecessarily pessimistic

Yes, DD4Bama was maybe a fan but a worthless one. And something was amiss. He even lamented Saban's success saying it would only increase the target on Bama's back and provoke other programs to improve.

If you can never have one good thing to say about "your" program upon the onset of Saban's success but only find the downside - you are sick or a fraud.
