As far as I can tell we did not. Probably because we were focused on Henderson and Miller. And while Judkins has been great I'd still take them over him.

I'm all for the guys in Crimson. But, what are you basing on taking Henderson and Miller over Judkins? I'm wondering if Henderson will stay at WR. Miller looks to have promise. It's just that we hardly ever let an in-state guy that's this good leave the state without an offer.

Opportunity mostly. Miller has looked great in limited playing time. He'd probably be killing it if he had Judkins opportunities. And Henderson just based on straight up talent. I'd love to have Judkins but it's damn near impossible to sign 2 let alone 3 guys that caliber.

I agree with you. I couldn't help but to think I'd like to see a game where Gibbs gets 30 carries.

I watched him play twice (playoffs and regular season) last year against my team and he was the truth. I figured he would go to auburn (even though he was already committed) then and was thinking they would get a hell of a player

Pretty sure Henderson stays at WR, just needs a year to learn the position

I love to watch Judkins play. He runs angry and mean.

I love Gibbs, but I don't think he's a 30 carries a game guy. At least not every game, he's just not built for it. He would get beat to hell, he's knicked up now as it is. To me, he should be used primarily as a pass catching threat, like Josh Jacobs was.

I sure hope Richard Young and Justice Haynes pan out because I have little faith in our current backups. Jase M doesn't run angry.

You must have not seen Miller run this year? I will not predict a players career bc it takes several things into account , but he shows excellent potential to be a very good back for us .

I failed to mention Miller. I do feel he has great potential.

He is the most dangerous guy we have whether taking handoffs or catching passes.

He is the most dangerous

Yet our idiot OC rarely gets him the ball in favorable situations where he can shine. The dropped pass late against UT was one of the few times BOOB got him in a great situation only for Gibbs to drop the ball. The rest of the time, let's run the guy into 8 man fronts and hope he finds a crease.

I agree, but with a steady dose of 30 carry games, he wouldn't make it through the season. Jase, Roydell, and Jamarion are all good backs, Jase and Roydell are still getting back to where they were before last year's injuries. Hitting a few deep passes every once in awhile would help all of them a lot.

Saban today:

Because he was the #46 ranked RB in the class and we signed #2 and #6.

You're always going to miss some diamond in the rough guys when you don't even have room for all the cream of the crop that want to come.
