Hell! If Biden can be president, then Monte can sure as hell run our defense!

Kevin Steele all but said that TRob was going to be moving on up "very soon" in his Rose Bowl interview.

I think this has been in the works for a while

it's becoming apparent to me that you need some game changers as OC/DC to be truly elite

Game changers? Like who? Nick runs the defense ultimately and the players play.

The only way to have a truly elite defense is to have D linemen that can whip some azz and blow up the LOS.

We've had really good defenses without game wreckers up front but to be truly elite you have to have them.

I need to see more from guys like Oatis. Dude is too big to not be eating up blockers consistently.

I like this. Plus bring Pruitt in as an analyst and go ahead and get the suspension out of the way.

Hell, hire Pruitt outright and give the NCAA the finger.

Bill Self is still coaching

With players getting the big money for NIL, what are coordinators going to be demanding going forward? I would be ticked if kids made more than me and I’m working 70 hours a week.

Cross Schumann off the list. If he didn’t come last season, why would he come now? The guy is great but I’m tired of us pursuing him and spending time and effort only for him to say no and stay under Kirby’s wing.

I completely agree, forget about Schumann.

Someone mentioned when/if Harbaugh heads back to the NFL CNS should make a call to the guy who put that defense we played on the 1st together. Probably not a bad idea.

If Harbaugh can get suspended twice in the same year for cheating, one of which actually gave an on field competitive advantage *this year* I think Pruitt should be able to be Alabama's DC.

Doesn’t seem to be a problem in the NFL.

I do agree that at the college level coaches should be making more than players.

most of the big NIL is paid to QB's and high stars. I assume very few D players are making high 6 figures. Only player on Bama making over a mil is Milroe and I assume Simpson is doing well for himself for him to not portal out. Sayin coming in is making close to 900K
