After we went down 13-10.. I have it on good authority that DeBoer took over play calling.
To back that up.. when Ford got hurt, CKD is on his knee a few feet away. He’s holding the play sheet.
He never has a play sheet

You ever seen DeBoer with a play sheet in his hands?

Good for him. I’m hoping like Popeye he’d had all he could stand and couldn’t stand anymore.

If it is true that is very telling and really puts the death knell for Grubb. I still have my reservations about him firing him and wont believe it until it happens. But if this is true im not sure how you dont move on given the results of the game

The source is an individual I grew up with that works in the Athletic Department.
Once again, something in the game changed. We had 17 yards in the second half total.. went down 13-10 and suddenly looked like the SF 49’ers.
Believe what you will.. I don’t care

I have never seen that either, but he absolutely did have what looked like a playsheet.
How the frick would not a single person working the TV broadcast observe that though?

Good he should going forward. Something changed. If he has to call plays for us to dominate so be it

It could just be a “check by me” situation. Changing the play if he doesn’t like it.

My son was wondering the same thing during the Ford injury when DeBoer was on the field kneeling with a play sheet. I didn’t think much about it because I just assumed he did regularly, but evidently that’s not the case.

Doesn't matter until we win a NC. Then I believe all the bullshite about DeBoer and his staff.
