I thought he was involved the entire game.

He 100% had a playsheet on his hand everytime Bama had the ball.

Could you see it in the broadcast at home?

They literally showed Grubb calling a play from the booth on the opening drive.

I’ve never seen him have a play sheet.. maybe I just missed it.

I received a text message about 15 minutes after the game that said “ DeBoer called the plays after we went down 13-10.”

Then I remembered him holding the play sheet when Ford was down because his hands were shaking.

The guy that texted me is a 30 employee in the athletic department. He’s usually pretty solid.

Is he lying? Not sure why he would but I guess he could be.

I know something definitely changed with the offense.

We had 17 yards total offense in the 2nd half and suddenly we looked like the 49’ers.

DeBoer was holding a play sheet in the 1st quarter.

Idk who called the plays but something did change…maybe they finally got it…idk. I did see the OC and DC hugging and celebrating after the game on the field. Thought Grubb was in the press box when he calls plays…he must have ran down to the field pretty fast!

He’s had a playsheet for years… when he went apeshit last year against Georgia he was holding it

You are a charlatan, most rightly don’t believe a word you say. Who cares what you believe.

I'm not one to believe EVERYTHING you see you see on this board but it amazes me how many people we have on here, anytime someone posts something that sounds plausible and is based on information from a personal source, we have people who instantly crap all over the poster.

It's like they're angry that they weren't privvy to this information and because of that, they feel the need to mock and ridicule the original poster.

I have no idea about this, but DeBoer did have a sheet in his hand while kneeling at the Ford injury. I thought his hand was trembling, which if true shows genuine concern. I am beginning to like DeBoer more and more for several reasons.

The two can be true at the same time.

He could have been holding play sheets in prior games, yet Grubb was calling the actual play.

Like 99.99% of Bama fans Debo probably got sick of Grubb's dumb shite and took over the actual play calling himself.

I’m 99% sure it’s more people latching onto the claim because they don’t have anything to whine about Grubb on this week

I have two guesses:

They had a plan to go to sideline play calling if they struggled with communication. However, it seems like we did A LOT of traditional huddles.

DeBoer was more involved with the play calling but not the play caller per se

I didn't see see anything different to make me think Deboer to over.

Deboer has carried a sheet since he has been here. It might just be a situation sheet.

There's PLENTY to whine about with Grubb this week.

Nothing says November like turkey and some version of this rumor making the rounds

But while we're on the subject, I actually heard that it was Wommack who DeBoer took over for! Can you believe it?
