re: Deboer. I'm kind of shocked at how poorly he did.

I’m not shocked at how the season went, disappointed in the way we played in a lot of games, even the wins.
Coaching is a problem at the moment. Hopefully DeBoer adapts to the SEC quickly and now knows he has to have his team ready every week, there is no gimmes. From things I’m hearing about the inside of the program, I’m not very optimistic about the future.

We just won the Iron Bowl for the 5th year… Little Brother is in disarray as usual and this is what you come up with?

I'm not going to pretend there was a modicum of improvement on that offensive football team this year.
Three months and 12 games and no progress. Only regression.
That's pretty disappointing coming from an offensive coach.
Can't disagree unfortunately. Anyone being objective can't really refute these claims.

One year removed from playing for titles for nearly 20 years, and suddenly the bar has been lowered to beating auburn ?!?

He gets a pass from me there until he has a competent quarterback directing his offense.

For the umpteenth time, Saban worked miracles with that bunch last year and we got in by the skin of our teeth and were rightfully the bottom seed.
Or should DeBoer have gone completely away from his offensive philosophy and kept Rees because he was able to sufficiently dumb stuff down where Milroe could function just to satisfy a fan base that thinks we should never, ever have a retooling season even when the program faces its biggest cataclysm in a generation?

Absolutely not, stop being ignorant. It’s the day after the Iron Bowl is all… enjoy it, first year coach following the GOAT beat Auburn in his first try… relax and enjoy it.

Kiffin turned Blake Sims, a RB, into a SEC Championship winning QB.
Good coaches adapt their offense to fit their players. Only a idiot makes his players run a offense that doesn't fit them.
The problem is coaching.

The coach gets to do things his way.
The fans have no say so.

He has bosses that’ll come calling if he racks up the Ls and money stops coming in. I hope we don’t get to that point. I believe we have the right guy for the job and hopefully we see improvements the next two years.

Still playing for a title, arse bitch. 11 in both polls and that will mirror the cfp poll Tuesday. Like it or not they are likely in and will beat the brakes off half of those other shitty teams.

Oh I know and that’s the way it should be. I’m just poking the troll. Since Chicken doesn’t want to allow ignoring posters to keep this place a circus, it’s up to me to show self control and just stop responding to him. I don’t have the time or inclination to deal with fools.

What offense can Milroe run? What style offense can you run for a QB who's only strength is straight line speed? They completely dumbed down the offense for him last season & it was one of the worst offensive seasons statistically during the Saban era.
If you watched any Washington games last season, you'd see immediately that this is a much different offense than he ran last year.
Either Deboer & Sheridan are bad offensive coaches or it's impossible to scheme an elite offense with the guy we have at QB.

Deboer will have the two qbs he recuited on campus next year, mack and Russell and I fully expect mack to be the starter and Russell number 2 after spring. Probably get a 3rd guy from the portal. This team will have a completely new look next year.

The op and remaster916 are obvious trolls and the people who run this site won’t do a damn thing about it. Perhaps they work for the site and are trying to drive traffic. Other than that, there’s no logic behind not banning them.

Lmao….Georgia, who is the epitome of a stable program with the alleged “best” coach in the SEC, was a hair away from being 9-3.
Just admit you want DeBoer to fail.

There is no denying that the offense did not really improve over the course of the season and without any colossal injuries too. The defense inarguably got better over the course of the season despite the 250 rushing yards against OU leaving a bad taste in your mouth.
The offense was the liability on this team. They had far too many turnovers and, frankly, most of them are on the quarterback.

The same Kiffin that lost to Kentucky, Fla & LSU in a year where Ole Miss was actually the more talented team in all 3 games?
