With all the resources that the players have. How on Earth do you have bad grades.

Which makes you think it would be a piss test issue. Hard to study for those tests.

I've always wondered how they can make a player take a piss test for weed.

I can see PEDs, and amphetamines, but weed ?

Who didn't smoke weed in college ? And these guys could definitely benefit from the anti-inflammatory and pain relief weed gives without side effects.

He may be going to Bradford for 21 days, lets see if that helps.

I didn't, its illegal and would have ruined my current life. Not a hard decision in the grand scheme.

I didn't either but I regret it. My college life was far too bland.

Now I'm 40 with a small child, wife and 9 to 5 job that I would lose if caught. Missed my boat.

Definitely plan on being one of those old fogies who smokes weed though.

the abstract on the patent for cannabinoids... as held by our department of health and human services. LINK here for full text
quote:

Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism. This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and HIV dementia. Nonpsychoactive cannabinoids, such as cannabidoil, are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses useful in the method of the present invention. A particular disclosed class of cannabinoids useful as neuroprotective antioxidants is formula (I) wherein the R group is independently selected from the group consisting of H, CH3, and COCH3.

almost a crime we aren't giving them cannabis as an option to offset brain trauma.

How about this, how can a player be dumb enough to do it when they know they’ll be tested for it?

shite is stupid anyway, other than any medical benefits (when prescribed) I’ve actually seen it be the spark that fricked up a handful of people’s lives. Not a lot, sure, but a few. And all to “have fun” like they were incapable of having fun or feeling good otherwise.

You didn't miss a dang thing. Biggest waste of time imaginable. Go do something meaningful in your retirement.

I'm not sure that I follow. Do you think that everyone who gets stoned just sits there and does nothing? Why can't he do something meaningful whilst stoned?
