I really respect Jeremiah's opinion. I tend to agree with more of what he says than McShay or Kiper. Jeremiah and Mayock are my favorites. Anyway, he mocked Coop to Atlanta. Would be kinda cool, seeing those two tear up the NFL together. Note, he does have Coop as the second WR off the board.

Roddy White isn’t getting any younger and Cooper would be a perfect compliment to Julio Jones. Roll Tide!

As a Falcons fan, I honestly hope not. There are other things that need addressing. Cooper's great, but the Falcons would be better off taking a hybrid pass-rusher.

Kevin White is great but I don't think he'll be drafted before Coop

That's a common sentiment, I don't necessarily get the logic though. Make a bad position good or a good position unstoppable. Teams can gameplan around a pass rusher. It's pretty hard to stop 3-4 really really good wide receivers. Don't know why they would give up the opportunity. They resigned white and will likely resign Julio. Get Cooper for a rookie contract rate to team with those two guys and address the needs later in the draft. There isn't s game changing pass rusher mocked behind Cooper.

Basically, which move makes the Falcons harder to beat. Adding a pass rusher to a team with no pass rushers, or adding another dynamic WR to a team with a great and two good wide receivers. I think Cooper makes a bigger differnce than any one pass rusher would in Atlanta, particularly in this division.

A pass-rusher makes more sense, but in his mock he has Gregory, Williams, Ray, and Fowler taken before our pick. No other pass-rushers would be worthy of a top 10 pick. In this scenario, Cooper would make sense. It would make more sense to trade down to a team that needs a star WR though. Falcons also need depth.

Does Del Rio have added insight into Cooper because of the relationship his son had with him a couple of years ago? Might be something to that. Maybe Del Rio tries to get more Bama players because of seeing them at practice. I dunno, I'm just trying to sound smart.

Yes...it would be an epically bad pick by my Dirty Birds...WR is not the problem. Although it would be fun to watch Julio, Coop and Roddy as a 3rd option. But please God go with a pass rusher (hopefully Dante Fowler) or a lineman that can keep Matty Ice upright.

Again, he has all worthy pass rushers taken before our pick and no offensive linemen are worth that pick (and it's a deep OL class). Like I said, if we kept the pick in that situation, Coop would make sense with Roddy on the decline. I'd probably trade the pick though.
