It was all about the defense,defense, and defense. They were truly bad. Offense and Special teams played winning football. Defense almost gifted the game away. If their kicker makes that extra point, the game would have been tied.

We can only hope they turn it around. We can bitch about it, at the end of the day they need to figure it out. Play like a group of veterans.

Maybe I'm in the minority but Ole Miss doesn't scare me at all.
They are a totally different team in SEC play.

This will be the first game since I don’t know when, that I will be shocked if Bama wins. I really can’t see it happening.

Ole Miss will score points no doubt but I don’t think their defense will stop us either. And Corral can be an interception machine. Lane will bend Golding’s arse over a barrel, scheme wise, much the same way Mullen did but hopefully we will find a turnover or two. And the game is at home. And Ole Miss will probably be a sexy pick. Saban will use that to his advantage and I expect a much better effort than we saw yesterday. I think Bama wins and a little more handily than some of you do. Just hope to get through USM with no injuries

Well, their leader(PG) has proven over the last 3 years that he cannot consistently pu those players in a position to win their battles. PG is a shite otf coach!

The offense is about where I expected it to be. I was hoping that with seven or eight starters back, the defense would be able to take the pressure off the offense in our first four or five games.

I haven’t felt disparity like our D vs Ole Miss O in a loooooong time, probably the Shula days.
It will take a Herculean effort just to get a couple of stops. I fully expect them to score points on every single possession unless Corral turns it over.

Our defense has the talent to stop Ole Miss. They will be playing at home so that should add a little extra motivation to have a good game. They just need to play smart.

We need to be honest and realize we don't have time to fix our defensive issues before Ole Miss. It's going to be ugly. We will have to outscore them
Going back into this season with the same defensive coaches and system will be our death nail this season.
It won't just be Ole Miss either. We got embarrassed by a one dimensional offense and it wasnt just one or two players, it was the entire defensive unit. It's a coach and system problem.

Agree with a good portion of this. Their defense is significantly better but I still think OM’s rush D is below average. That’s how we win. Have to be able to run the ball and slowly bleed the game while tiring the D out and keeping Corral off the field

Yeah the 9@ yd drive killed me. When that ball rolled out of bounds on the one I thought this is when Bama drives the dagger through their heart and finished them, instead Florida gets a 99 yd drive and it fuels their confidence and they beat our defenses arse for the rest of the game minus one play

It's straight up bizarre seeing everyone on here terrified as hell of Ole Miss. They have beaten three shitty teams so far this season, and people are acting as if they should be the favorites to win the NC
I think we beat OM by 2-3 touchdowns.

Two of our wins were against crappy teams and if the Florida game had 30 more seconds, we probably would have lost.

Thank goodness time ran out on the Gators. We were gassed. They were pumped. Had us like a defeated boxer backed against the ropes, taking blow after blow, somehow surviving.
We best find our mojo before 10/02 cause Corral/Kiffin will have no mercy.
