As a Jets fan, I feel so bad... generally
NY broke him, it sucked to see. Why it was so surprising Carolina gave up what they did for him.
Matt Rhule really spent that entire Senior Bowl week coaching Mac Jones and thought Darnold is the missing piece

That's what I've been saying for weeks. Not only did he think Darnold was the missing piece, he was so convinced of it that he talked management into sacrificing 2 valuable draft picks to get him. Passing on Mac after coaching him for a week just to trade for Darnold is going to be one of those moves that makes "Rhule" a four letter word in Charlotte for years.

Mac Jones in first round made a lot of teams hesitate.

Venables announced at OU. See if any Clemson cruits open up. He has some work fixing the recruiting mess Riley left behind

Now it is time to see if Dabo can make good hires and sustain success.

My hunch is that he promotes from within.

I would be very surprised if he doesn’t. It worked with the offensive staff when Morris left.

Promotion within isn't always good idea.

I agree. But it’s Dabo’s M.O.

So Miami has taken step one in regards to being serious about football again in hiring Cristobal. Now let's see if the administration actually gives Cristobal what he wants/needs or if they pull the rug from under him like they often do. Cristobal and Miami boosters about to get crazy with NIL believe that
.

If anyone wants to truly evaluate how good Golding, BOB and Marrone are, take a look at how many schools or NFL teams are knocking down the door to hire them.
At the moment, that number would be zero.

I also think Mario's mother is older and getting sick. He wanted to be closer to her.
