I’m pretty comfortable with QB Reese at ILB. Even though he’s listed at 6’ and is probably 5’11”, he’s stout and easily 230 lbs.Very physical guy, very aggressive.
I think he’s gonna really surprise people.

The Athletic predicts Keelon Russell will be our starting QB (not surprised).
They also rank him as the 33rd "best" QB for the upcoming season.

If that was season’s end yes, but these basement nerds have no clue who is good and who isn’t.

Hell nah, he will be top 10 by the end of the season. This dude is really really good. He has the highest ceiling of any QB we have had. Milroe athletically had unlimited potential but Russell appears to have a brain to match or at least compliment his physical gifts. He throws the best ball we have seen since Brodie Croyle; maybe Coker had some of that power and zip on the ball. Brodie went in the 3rd round and started a dozen games or so in the NFL, even after fricking his legs up in college. If Russell stays healthy he is a future top 3 pick in the NFL. Warren Moon is the best comparison.

We had the 13th ranked FEI Offense in the country last year, which was good for 5th in the conference.
Even if you dont think we fixed the OL I dont see finishing 8th in the conference.
Top Offenses IMO:
-Texas (insane skill players, returning QB and tons of depth)
-OM (Chambliss back, lots of weapons)
-UGA (returning QB, very good OL, very efficient)
-Bama (Improved OL, healthy QB with superstar potential, RCW returns)
-LSU (Kiffin, improved OL, lots of weapons)
-A&M (returning QB)
Tennessee is getting lots of hype offensively (FEI preseason #4) and I guess I dont understand it yet? No established or experienced QB, dont see many major weapons.

i know this isnt about recruiting. in watching ckd speak at secmd it dawned on me. hes had to change the program to his program without kicking saban in the nuts and destroying any type of good relationship with the fans. thats a pretty tough line to walk and hes done it judiciously over time.

We have a huge secondary. Zabien, Dijon, and Hubbard have impressive size.

JJ is one of my all time favorite players. Had more heart and never quit attitudes I have ever seen. Dude gave 110 per cent every play in every game.Great role model for our guys.
