We’re in decent shape this coming season in terms of defensive linemen but holy cow, we DESPERATELY need to sign several big time D linemen. Personally, I’d like to see Bama sign 4-5 defensive linemen in this next recruiting class. No “projects”. I’m talking about guys who could play right away. Not necessarily start but provide some depth.

Why does Bacon's profile say Warren, Michigan?

Transfer to Hoover?

The Gorney Awards: Navy All-American Bowl

quote:

THE COVER-UP: Chuck McDonald

McDonald played at powerhouse Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei and had a phenomenal senior season which followed a great summer including at the Rivals Five-Star which followed a great junior season. So it’s no surprise the Alabama signee had a great week in San Antonio and not only had an interception during one-on-ones but locked up receivers all over the field. It’s what McDonald has done for years.

Stock Up: 10 recruits who bolstered their stock at Navy All-American Bowl

quote:

CB CHUCK MCDONALD

Chuck McDonald made a compelling case as one of the top corners in the country, and throughout the week earned his fair share of highlights and big plays in live competition. During Day 2 of the Navy AAB competition, McDonald had a banner day in coverage breaking on routes, showing extremely well in coverage, and snatching an interception during the 7-on-7- portion of the joint workouts. The Alabama signee from the West Coast boasts excellent length with a filled-out frame -- and he's superb adjusting to the ball. McDonald was sticky in coverage outside the numbers and in the middle of the field, and was shadowing receivers at will during Saturday's game.

It’s almost a guarantee that a player from Mater Dei will make an early contribution. Chuck might be someone who can make a contribution even in a talented and experienced cornerback position.

Hello Michigan. The earth will literally crack there if OSU wins the title. Money spent so far will be a drop in the bucket compared to what will come if that happens..

Should've pulled his offer the moment he started bag chasing.

You understand this now how college football works, right? Ohio St is fixing to win it all and they just spent a ton of dough to make that happen.

JaBarrius "Chicken" Garror frequently visited Tuscaloosa throughout the year. He committed after attending the Champions Cook-Out, and he hasn’t waivered on the decision. He focused on his sophomore campaign where he amassed 104 tackles, 21.5 sacks and 56 tackles for loss.
