Agreed. If we wanted a transfer WR, Simmons might be an option. Very dependable, speed, and likely a fraction of the cost.

The real money needs to go towards OL, DL, and ILB,

Phoenix City WRs don’t sign with us. We were not even in his top 5 out of high school.
Ever since that Ross guy went to Clemson all their future receiver prospects have gone elsewhere. I might be wrong but that is my perception.

What would Simmons add that Brooks doesn't give us next year?

Coaches are going to want more size at the WR positions, plus Williams will likely be healthy next year and return to form

I know he's been banged up but I think much of Ryan Williams issues are mental. I really wish Ryan could spend a day or two with Devonta Smith training with him and talking about what it takes to be the best. Smitty worked his arse off and was focused. Ryan could learn a lot from him.

We really don't need any receiver transfers

RW - Brooks - Derek Meadows- then Morgan/Hale/MBakwe

This happened over the offseason.

Don’t agree. That’s relying on two true Sophmores with limited reps and a junior head case. Absolutely need some experienced depth.

Alabama safety signee Jireh Edwards is one of the more physically developed defensive backs on hand. He was at the front of the line for Team Roses and flashed advanced refinement in position drills. Edwards has spent much of his time at the high school level as a big slot corner and lined up there a good bit on Wednesday evening. The Alabama signee flashed some physicality as a downhill run defender during 11-on-11.

This happens when your QB won't, or can't throw down field. I realize that our pathetic OL doesn't give QBs enough time to throw deep often, but we don't even try when we do get enough time.

Im excited to see the safeties play out.

Edwards can play almost any spot in our secondary outside of CB depending on matchups.
