In a game they should have easily won.
That team was in a bowl that team didn't care about being in. Bama this year was in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.
Posters saying that are wishfully hoping he will leave

Not going to lie.. it crossed my mind a few times...lol. But I refuse to quit like our defense.
I must say though.. Ross is Julio like. I knew he was good but damn. Hate we missed on him now

Welp, we really impressed the remaining targets on our list tonight. Although I must admit if they are on the defensive side of the ball, they must have watched that dumpster fire and thought I could play right away.

After watching the Oline get their lunch money taken most of the night; it bodes well that the Tide signed a great Oline class (would love to see Wright come on down now; while I was not thinking it wouldnot be all that necessary)... Hope I am not pressing on the Panic Button to hard here>
But losing Jonah, Lester, Ross... and not sure about Leatherwood (his play was up and down all year).
If Key is really heading to GT, maybe getting a great recruiter who can actually coach Oline would be a great addition to the staff.
I'll be honest with you. I hate losing Jonah, obviously. But I'm THRILLED that Ross P and Cotton are gone. I know this isn't a popular sentiment, but I felt like Ross P (And have been consistent in saying this... I'm not just saying this since he's played his last snap at UA) was one of the most overrated players we've ever had. Good at getting guys lined up and a great representative of UA and all around good guy, but not a great pass blocker and gets no push in the running game. Ekiyor will be better as soon as he's competent at calling plays on the line.
Cotton... I wish him all the best as well, especially with his newborn child. He had his moments, but he was one big mental error and missed assignment waiting to happen. Deonte Brown, when eligible in the 5th game, is, obviously as we've all seen, a massive upgrade.
I also wish Mack would go pro, but he probably wouldn't get drafted high enough right now. Not sure if it's his instincts or Golding's coaching or what, but he was turrible this year. Just brutal. At this point, I'd be fine with taking my chances with Kaho starting in his spot next year.
Raekwon also managed to disappear for most of the season. Buggs is a good player, but is literally NEVER healthy. Even in the games where he's supposedly close to 100 percent coming into the game, he ALWAYS gets banged up and rendered mostly ineffective.
Sometimes new blood is a good thing. And goodness knows we're due for about 5 years of absolutely ZERO injuries.

I hope Key goes to GTech. I've seen enough of his lines. I understand we are a different team offensively, but he hasn't impressed me
Don't worry. He gone. I guess Saban can always (and has in the past) change his mind. But if what the people I listen to have said is correct, he's been told to look for another job. I guess it'll be the GT one.

It’s been pretty widely reported that he’s going to GT for the last week or so.

On a lighter note... Clemson’s dream girl

Well, yeah. We all know that. But I'm kind of referring to the report that came out where he denied that he's going anywhere. I'm basically saying he's still being pushed somewhere else regardless of that article.

Damn it, I have to explain this at work today. I hate having to control irrational anger.

Let’s just get ToTo and try to start (and finish) a season healthier than we have the past two years
Looking forward to Lewis and a developed Anoma, as well as having Diggs back next year

Assuming Thompson goes pro, I'd move Saivion to Safety.
CB: Diggs, Surtain
S: Smith, McKinney
6 DB Package: Diggs, Surtain, Carter, Smith, McKinney, Mayden

Jeffrey Carter is going to ball out at CB next year.

Surtain and Jobe are pretty good, just lack experience.
Diggs will be back too. This defense is just too complicated for a freshman CB to be great in.

I think Deonte may be coming back, actually. Not a given that he leaves.

Jobe will beat out Mayden. He's viewed as a star and potential 3 and gone player once he is completely comfortable with the D. I thought (beyond a tipped ball or two that their ridiculous WRs caught and a circus catch or two) he played well last night.

His stock certainly took a big hit later in the year. Probably still will be projected in the first round, though.

What has Mayden this year that makes you believe he is topshelf? Savion plays because the people behind him suck more than he does. I am hopeful that somebody takes #4's spot and soon. 30 and 32 are two of the worse ILB's to ever start for Saban but that shows again how bad those backups are as of today. The entire defense needs to be blown up and rebuilt with every position up for grabs....every position.
