I forgot about him. That would be a very interesting hire. It would either be really good or really bad. Not much in between

I definitely could see Kiffin as the hire.

It would end badly regardless, the question would be if he could win big before it blew up. Freshwater in Coral Gables is like paying the fox to watch the henhouse.

No way of knowing how many actually went to the colleges, and how many are sidewalk fans, but there are many more Ohio State, ND, and MI golf carts here than any others. "BAMA Cart" seems to be one of a kind.

It probably makes sense. If you live in a northern state, you can escape the numbing cold by moving here, while southerners don't have this problem. (I moved here from Richmond, VA.)

Saw a rumor on a CU board about Mario being a top choice for Miami. Doubt he would leave Oregon already but he would do well there.

This happens all the time. Hell Taggert did it to thier last class. Oregon fans are under no illusion, they are on high alert that Cristobal might leave. This is more about his buyout and whether he believes he would be better off at Oregon if Miami goes after him.

But they don't give it generously to athletics, and the Foundation still hasn't recovered from the schools biggest athletic booster stealing most of it's money six or seven years ago.

Oregon's only weaknesses are the conference they play in and their geographic location that is remote from any major talent centers. Miami's only strengths are their geographic location in the middle of arguably the biggest recruiting hotbed in the country and still being able to survive on a reputation earned before all the kids who signed the other day were even born. Oregon isn't a bad job, but it has a lot of challenges. Miami is simply not a good job anymore. Their administration is hostile towards athletics and they don't have anything close to nationally competitive facilities.

I agree with this. The issue Oregon is facing is that they have those obstacles and Cristobal is from and played at Miami. To go from 3300 miles from home to having Sunday dinner with the whole extended family whenever you want will be enticing.

Cristobal could steal our top two pass rushers.

I hope not but I have thought to myself a couple of times it will go along way into knowing where Bogle's head is at if he pushes back his decision (if he hasn't signed yet) now that Richt is leaving.

TideorDie we got the number 2 pick in the draft and there is almost no way we take Quinnen. The Niners make me so mad sometimes.

I doubt Miami will pay Cristobal's 10 million buyout. Not that 10 million is an insurmountable sum but Miami doesn't pay coaches like that.
