I meant as far as public perception goes. No matter what the outcome is in february the best class will be crowned today in most people's eyes.

I disagree. People are discounting the all star games and that there will be yet another shift in rankings from there. Finishing with the highest ranking today might look nice for a while but there's not a guarantee those numbers will even last for 2-3 weeks.

Most disappointing class since 2006, imo

Saban doesn’t want to tarnish his legacy this late in his career and play with the others. I don’t blame him at all. We always get blamed for being the cheat team when in actuality we are one of the cleanest programs.

People associate the old NSD with our success, but that before KS went to UGA and presented a real recruiting threat. I'm not big on ESD, but I don't think it's going anywhere, especially when in most people's eyes it has lessened the gap between them and bama.

I like the early signing day myself . Gives recruits less time to flip plus can you imagine the melting on this board from every “insider” and UPS delivery man rumor all the way to February?

I can imagine Saban coming off another NC, showing everyone he's not retiring, and him hitting the recruiting trail hard. The way it is now, our coaches are preparing for a NC, and everyone is telling recruits Saban is going to retire if he wins another NC this year.

Hell Georgia has already lost a #2 overall 5-star and #51 overall 4-star from their 2018 class.

Things happen.

Eboigbe and utk is gaining steam. That, on top of Dax would honestly be a serious punch below the belt.

I get tired of the pessimism here. But honestly, if those things happen, CNS and staff might need to re-evaluate what they're doing going into the Class of 2020.

We still can land Sopsher, To'oto'o and Khris Bogle in February. Possibly one or two more.

We need to be careful hanging our hats on Sospher. We have a ton of fans who think he's a lock. He's not.

The only public perception I care about are these:

The committee has never put a team in based on their recruiting class. You still gotta win the games on the field. Our current class is littered with guys who will be studs for us. I mean, you can only put 11 guys on the field at a time.

There was times this year where i thought we had moved on from both Dean and Sanders. Im honestly not hurt. If we can sign DJ Williams and not Glass ill be happy.

Been here for signing day every year since I joined. This looks about normal.

I would be ok with a pickering flip if Sopsher starts trending elsewhere.

I'm sure we have a solid backup plan. Our DT backup plans always end up being big time hits.

GTFO of here. Most of us lived through the pre Saban years. Dean hurts because of need, but Mack staying helps that. Getting Kaho was a godsend.

And Saint got me on the K Robinson RB

I mean, we already turned over more than half the staff last year to bring in recruiters. Gotta wait and see where everything settles.

Hey guys any news on Brandon Spikes or Tim Tebow? I think Shula is gonna pull it off. Got Mike? We do!

Shula spent 10 hours with Tebow last night. They had pot roast and Mrs. Tebow even offered to let Mike sleep on their couch. Mike declined because she offered to let him use a Gator blanket.

Yeah, way too much confidence going on with that trio.
