I’m sure this has happened several times for Saban but it’ll be a funny sight to see when Sanders gets shut down by Alabama in the SECCG if they make it (if Mullen doesn’t frick them), and he passes Saban on the field post game and you know the thought crosses their mind of what if and I was a dumbass 17 year old. It still blows my mind that kids pass up the opportunity to play for the best coach to ever live. And the fact that half of our 5 stars are in the NFL and that number dwarfs the rest of the country by more than double.

Bama gets most of who they want in-state and targets elite talent regionally and nation-wide. Even though Bama is arguably the top program, we're still gonna miss on lots of those elite out-of-state targets. That should be expected. We're competing for each of those targets against their in-state programs and multiple other top tier programs.
