Why are you giving up on Sanders? I mean four days ago all indications were Thibs would be at Bama. You can’t predict how this is going to go.

We've been "hat on the table U" for plenty of guys with 100% CB's elsewhere and they've signed so... we're always in it.

Question on numbers...We have 24 current commitments, and we are saying we can take 28 for sure, 29 possibly, even as many as 30.

Therefore my assumption would be if we take 28, we can take 4 more (Dean / Neal / Sopsher / To'oto'o)

If we can take 29 (Dean / Neal / Sopsher / To'oto'o / Battle)

If we can take 30 (Dean / Neal / Sopsher / To'oto'o / Battle / Sanders or Williams or Glass)

So if I am correct in my thinking, only way we can take a RB is if we take 30 in the class or someone decommits?

Incredible. Led for two years and UGA just swoops in at the end.

Gotta give Kirby credit. He knows how to close with the new Early Signing Day.

One DB might decommit if Battle comes aboard (probably christian williams), that hasn't been clarified yet if his coming kicks out a player or if its an additional DB (as far as I know).

So 29 seems to be the number now, ideal finish is what you predicted at your 29 + Sanders or Williams, if the Battle for another DB thing is true.

Tom Lugenbill said today on wjox, that if everything falls the way he thinks it will fall, Saban will sign his best class ever.

Assuming Bama signs Hellams, Turnage, Carter, Battle and Hill, then Christian Williams might blueshirt or choose to go elsewhere.

ETA: Blueshirts don't sign NLIs, arrive when fall camp starts and enroll on a fall scholarship. They must be nonrecruited -- no off-campus visits from coaches, no offical visit, no NLI.

If Sanders to Georgia and Williams to Auburn happens, it would be the 2nd straight year those schools took Bama's top 2 RB off the board.

Last year it was White to Georgia and Martian to Auburn.

Hopefully, Glass will jump on board this year. Bama can not miss on their top choice next year.

It’s weird too because our fourth string running back is getting carries

Keilan Robinson was #2 on the board and is rolling with the Tide. We as a board are high on DJ, but don't get it twisted, we got a stud in Keilan.

For the life of me I don’t know why any major recruit would want to go to AU right now. They should be bleeding recruits.

Still losing two 5-stars at the last minute to your main SEC rival is a big PR hit.
Not going to affect us this cycle much but could be a bad omen for future.
Have tremendous confidence Coach Saban will keep the ship sailing no matter the odds.

DJ was a late find, Auburn was his first major offer and they have been on him the longest in general as an actual we want you and you can commit thing.

Who? Webb had been a 50/50 thing for a while and Sanders previously decommitted and never recommitted, it was just assumed he would sign with us.

I've found that Luginbill isn't near as connected / good as he used to be regarding recruiting.
