You can literally see plays in the second half where they are obvious checks to the RB

and the title game was Tua's big chance to win Heisman voters with a big game of ESPN highlight plays. In the title game both Locksley and Saban would be less inclined to bench the starter, being not sure how Jalen would play.

The simple fact is that the OC determines who plays. If the quarterback doesn't do what the OC wants him to do, the OC can bench the guy.

actually john milner, you're wrong. dabol wanted to switch tua and jalen last year, mid season. saban wouldnt let him. so the OC is not the one making the call to switch QBs at bama.

Melt? I'm just mentioning the obvious. I told everyone the same about Webb when he wouldn't commit early. It was obvious. I think this is plain as day as well. I'd love to be proven wrong. I believe he has liked UGA for a long time. That's how it goes. I do think we get Sanders and Neal though.

I would also lean Bama for Sopsher due to his actions are similar to Webb.

You might turn out to be right and Dean very May sign with UGA.. but damn sure don’t think Bama is out of it.. or his mind as been made up for awhile. If Ole miss could have gotten Golding from us, he was ole miss bound. His mother loves them.. and the coaches. I think Kirby has done a great job with the parents too and I really think his parents choice would be UGA over Bama.,but Golding has done the best job with Dean. We will see if Saban could close that gap with the parents on his visit. I do wish he would have had more time with them.. Golding had a nice talk with Dean at Wiseguys over dinner. We will see if it was enough.. This is a Kirby vs Golden battle. I will also add UGA recruits are doing a better job reaching out and pulling in kids than Bama’s it seems. We kinda miss the drum beater this year in the class.

If we just get those 2 I will be happy enough. I fear that Sanders may go to UGA since they were a little more committed to the run game than Alabama was this year. That's what they'll sell him anyway. They are loaded next year, though, at the position, including the #1 recruited rb last year. They will also sell him, though, that Holyfield and Swift are 4th year players next year (I think that's correct) and will depart due to graduation or the NFL, and that he will have the opportunity to be the feature back the next year.

Hopefully he'll sign with the good guys but I am sweating that one.

I told you not to go to the Moon.

They don't frick around on that side of the street. I once lost $100 playing $5 blackjack in less than 3 minutes there. That little Choctaw girl dealing was fricking brutal.

I always win at the Silver Star though.

LINK ]Nebraska sends entire staff to visit Ty Robinson after Saban (247Sports)

quote:

Scott Frost is doing everything in his power to ensure 2019 four-star pass rusher Ty Robinson signs with Nebraska during next week's Early Signing Period.

Even if that means sending his entire recruiting staff to Robinson's high school after a visit from Alabama coach Nick Saban to prove a point.

Frost managed to pull off the rare recruiting feat on Thursday at Higley at Gilbert, Arizona, the final day coaches could visit in-home before the dead period.

“Coach Frost said he never did this before,” Higley High coach Eddy Zubey said, via MSN. “They’ve done nine, but not 11. They stopped recruiting everybody else in the nation for one day. They said he was their No. 1 priority. This was set up before. Scott Frost was going to come out. But when they found out that Nick Saban was going to be coming back, I think it became 11.”

“Ty knew they were coming, but it was still kind of overwhelming when they’re all in there,” Zubey said. “They were super nice, had good conversations. When this first started, (Nebraska) said they wanted to walk up last night and be the last ones in his house.”

Robinson final five list of schools include Nebraska, Oregon, USC, Alabama and Stanford. He is planning on revealing his choice on Wednesday at Higley. According to Robinson's 247Sports Crystal Ball, the Huskers are trending at 83 percent.

Nebraska's 2019 class is currently just inside the Top 25 nationally and ranks fourth in the Big Ten, according to the 247Sports Composite. If the Huskers land Robinson, he'll be the fourth highest-rated player in the haul and fifth overall inside the Top 300 nationally.

Nebraska already has three defensive end commitments for next season — Mosai Newsom, Jamin Graham and Garrett Nelson — all three-stars according to the 247Sports Composite.

During his visit to Alabama in November, Robinson said Saban's collection of championship hardware was impressive.

“He had all of his rings set out and he was telling us how’s he’s built the program to be a winning program and just getting the big athletes that he needs to get in there and to make that happen," he told 247Sports. "And just how he cares for the guys and we’re not just numbers or a pawn in his game — that he actually truly cares for us... Just come be a part of Roll Tide.”

Eta: He gone. (No spot for him anyway.)

This might be the most desperate thing I've seen from a coaching staff in a long time...
Somehow this seems worse than the Sleepover or the Tiger Chopper

UGA staff is putting up posters of Jason Haslewoods friend who passed away on his visit.. that seems desperate to me. And our good buddy cool mntdawg is giving props for it and saying the staff needs a raise. That kid is a douche bag

“They setup his room and the poster had a picture of his best friend who had passed away with Jason looking up at him”
