Alabama has definitely emerged as a front-runner as Thibodeaux has met with the coaches and seems to have a fuller understanding of how the Crimson Tide could develop him in Tuscaloosa. Florida State is still sticking around as Thibodeaux had an in-home with coach Willie Taggart in recent days as well. Florida feels like a longshot at this point but the five-star did have a great in-home with coach Dan Mullen and last weekend Thibodeaux did visit Gainesville.
When it comes to Thibodeaux, he’s more interested in how the coaches could develop him for college success and into the NFL. History is important when he looks at coaches but it’s definitely not a top factor. His development is key. This recruitment feels like it’s almost too close to call between the Crimson Tide and the Ducks but seems to be trending one way over the other.

I'm thrilled that we are in it with thibs at this point, there was a while there it looked like we were going to be left on the outside looking in to even try and win him over.

Not me because if we don't get him we likely get Bogle. I don't think Bogle is a step down from Thibodeaux.

Long term I think Thibodeaux has a higher ceiling of the two, but in terms of their college careers I agree that they could produce similarly for us.

I can't imagine that considering Sopsher isn't committing until February.
They may be getting the backup plan sealed and then still making a run at Sopsher.

Where are these CBs you speak of? Saw an LSU poster say CBs were rolling in for Dean to Bama . Is he talking about Shurburtt and Hank or are there others ?
