Well it looks like they are the only two we are going to add. We have to hit the DL hard in next year's class.

Hoping we can add some JuCos. Possibly Phidarian Mathis? Stay on Ryan Johnson?

Ray, Concliffe, and Byers would still be a good group of freshmen DL signees.

I heard yesterday an interesting stat on Houston. That the average distance for everyone on their roster is 32 miles from the campus. I know that Texas is talent heavy but pretty amazing for the level their team is playing at considering they are not a power 5 team and have so many around then competing for the players including LSU who does very well in the Houston area.

I think we go hard after 1 or 2 DL in this class. We are going to need some experience and depth and think once their season gets going and our staff can evaluate them we will start hearing names pop up

Fox Sports’ Joel Klatt has conspiracy theory involving Nick Saban, Steve Sarkisian and LSU

Is Shelvin a possible flip if Miles gets canned? Wasn't there talk a few months ago about possibly flipping Ja'len Parks?

Hank South mentioned him today as a possible flip.

Are you talking about Jarez Parks? Ja'len Parks hasn't been associated with Alabama at all.

I normally think Klatt's a moron, however, I think he's just throwing something out there that crossed his mind.

Cowherd's a dumbass, though, for chiming in with "You're exactly right"

Oh wow. I thought he was going somewhere when he said it hit him like a ton of bricks. And then he ended it with some ridiculous shite. Talk about grasping straws.

So Saban anticipates lsu losing to Wisconsin and struggling on offense worse than before. Then a step further that lsu decides they want to bring in an alcoholic when they have a coach they want to fire who eats grass. A situation that fragile would be the last place Sarkisian would end up.

Klatt, Clay Travis, cowherd, and skip bayless make my jaw drop with some of the shite they say. And what bothers me the most is, if they were obviously trolling I'd laugh it off. These motherfrickers actually believe this shite.

Listening to finebaum and a caller just brought up the Joe Klatt comment and called him Joe Clit. Finebaum corrected him immediately

It's not a good idea for Sark to be that close to Bourbon Street

That's what I was thinking as well. He needs to stay as far away from that third world country as possible.

Elijah Conliffe's interest in Alabama started with a video game.

As a youngster in Hampton, Va., he played the popular NCAA Football games, which are now defunct. Alabama was his team of choice.

When he grew into a recruitable athlete and had the chance to make an unofficial visit further away from home, Alabama was where he chose.

This summer, the 6-foot-4, 305-pound defensive lineman earned an Alabama offer after a strong camp performance. Conliffe is a four-star recruit ranked as the No. 11 strong-side defensive end nationally, though he said Alabama was looking at him more as a defensive tackle.

"I went there previously last summer (before his junior year)," Conliffe said. "I didn't get the offer. They told me what I needed to work on and stuff and I came back and I got it."

Conliffe was only about 245 pounds last summer, so the gains in size and strength certainly helped.

"It was pretty much hands and other stuff technique-wise (that I needed to work on)," Conliffe said. "I was really raw coming in. When I left from there, I was still raw. They know I have a lot of potential in my game, so they went ahead and offered me."

Conliffe said that Alabama is his leader, but he's in no rush to make a public commitment. He also noted Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee, USC, Oklahoma, Maryland, North Carolina State and Virginia Tech as schools coming after him.

Conliffe is in the process of setting up his official visits and hopes to catch an Alabama game this fall. His two prior visits have already made an impression.

"I really liked the campus," Conliffe said. "The campus is really beautiful. The people there are really supportive to the program in that little town.

"From the coaches' point of view, I like the passion they coach with. They really push you to become the best and they don't give up on you. They'll be hard on you, but it's for a good cause."

Outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi is Conliffe's primary recruiter.

I'll recap it once he answers all of the questions. He has a handful just hanging there right now.
