They are little. 2 of the 3 are girls. We will find out in about 5 years or so where we stand on HS football. If we have more boys then we will have a good shot. Considering I played QB in HS and pitched in college and the minors. But it doesn't always pan out that way. Every person is different. I'm nothing like my dad. My dad was a RB and a DB. I was a QB. My wife's side of the family were OL/DL.

Pretty sure I played against you if you are who I'm thinking you are. I'm a Gardendale grad

Not a Trump (or really a Hillary) fan, but that helmet would be pretty Spaceballs awesome. Especially with a huge brim.

Probably so. What year did you graduate gardendale? My cousins went to gardendale, fultondale, and Hayden.

I'm not from the state of Alabama so I'm sure I'll miss a bunch of talented areas, but I'd go with Clay-Chalkville, Vigor, Spanish Fort, James Clemens and Hoover. Thoughts?

These look good except for Clemens High. This is the first year they have had national level recruits so I would pick from one of the larger traditional powers; maybe Prattville, Daphne or possibly even one of the Auburn area schools.

St. Paul's: AJ McCarron, Jake Coker, Mark Barron, Dustin Hood, Ivan Matchett, Josh Casher from years past and now they have multiple guys there now like Ryan Johnson. Auburn got Trey Williams, but his talent was wasted and is no not very good because he wasn't developed properly.

Daphne: Pat White, TJ Yeldon, Ryan Anderson, Reggie Hunt, Kenny King. A few other big ones.

Foley: Ken Stabler, Julio Jones, DJ Fluker, Robert Lester, Roosevelt Byrd.

Hoover: John Parker Wilson, Josh Chapman, Kerry Murphy with a slew of others

Huffman: Andre Smith and Marcel Dareus.

I changed my carver pick because they have only had players recently.

Not as big a name s the others but every bit the high school player and one of the most highly recruited national kids at the time was my childhood friend and class/teammate Herbert Casey who had a pretty good career with Auburn. Coaches from every top 25 team in the country were on campus daily his senior year.

You were in the same class as Brandon Cox, Ramzee Robinson, and DeMeco Ryans.

I graduated in 2004. Patrick White and Tribble Reese were the big QB names in the state and didn't get the bama/auburn offer either.

I didn't get the big D1 offers in football because of Brodie Croyle and Brandon Cox.

Look man. North Birmingham HS football just has a different kind of feel to it. Morris during football season just gives me goose bumps.
