Trolling? I've been on this board for 7 years. I'm not going to troll over recruiting. But I'm not going to be a blind homer either. It's the way I see it. He'll go elsewhere.

Just asking for your reason on why you think that since it defies prevailing cw and logic.

These things don't exist as constants in recruiting. They change frequently as you are talking about 17-18 year old kids.
It's cool for you to pump sunshine but not cool for CapstoneGrad06 to pump objectivity?

Guys, come on here. I'm the one giving facts here. Most national people have said that if they had to choose who might have a small advantage and the best relationship it would be us. I'm fully aware that 17-18 year olds change their minds. But he's offered no reasoning on why he doesn't think we'll sign him. Heck, we may not. But just leaving a vague "I figure he'll go elsewhere" is kind of strange without any reasoning behind it don't you think? I mean we're the top program in the country right now that has been recruiting the highest ranked classes and pulling guys from all over. If he knows something we don't, it's all fine and good. Maybe we don't sign him. But to ASSUME we won't for no good reason is just kind of strange. No sunshine pumping about that. It's just the way that it is.

I for one love the info you bring to the board

It's an odds game. Even if he is 30% Bama(I don't think he is that high) and 25% Michigan and 25% Auburn and 20% somewhere else, it's more likely he ends up somewhere else than Alabama. It's picking the field.

I wish we could get Janarious Robinson on campus that would be huge.

3714 I am with Rizzy, I appreciate the information that you bring. I wouldn't worry about what anyone says considering that you and TS, BW, Chatta and some others put in a lot of time and effort to keep this going. Just keep doing what you do, pump what you need to pump and put the brakes on when needed.

I do like the info, but if we get commits from everyone that looks good to him for Bama, we are signing 40. I think he made a list of DL guys we would get. Add on the flips and other positions puts us way over. Especially when we keep getting commits from people we didn't expect we were going to get or even going after.

Ex-Georgia quarterback Jacob Park will visit Alabama this weekend, he told ESPN's Joe Schad.

Our Qb situation is such a clusterfrick

Wondering if Saban pulls a 2011 again, or if he names one outright after fall camp? Either way should still cause a reaction depth wise.
Gonna laugh if Bateman pulls a Blake Sims and just snatches it away from Coker and Cornwell in the fall.
They likely have a scholarship for Park if he wants in, though I'd still probably prefer the JuCo RB to fill an urgent gap...

I will have to say that there are several who have high interest but that doesn't mean that we can/will take them. So in reality there may be a lot that want to get on board and are only waiting for the go ahead.

quote:that would be amusing, i just dont see it happening. most likely scenario is coker wins it this year, then cornwell and barnett have a battle for next year, and bateman transfers to a lower division school. i can see morris sticking around and then becoming a graduate assistant or something like that. if we going to transfer he would have already done it

I think everyone is overreacting...

I think Cornwell will give Coker all he can take, there's not a major factor that's really letting Coker stake claim. Coker could be great in the right system, but is his slow release, big arm right for the WCO? Kiffin will definitely be tweaking the offense for him.
Morris is the "I'm just happy to be here" guy...
