We just aren't that good on defense this year. Why would throwing fits on the sideline help anything?

The point I’m making is not that throwing a fit accomplishes anything. What I’m speaking of is an apparent lack of passion, fire, drive, etc that used to manifest itself in the form of chewing players out, throwing headsets, getting pissed at bad calls in a game. You can have a separate debate over appropriate sideline demeanor for a football coach, but we all know that for Nick Saban, his trademark was his intensity that erupted quite frequently. We are not seeing that any longer. He looks defeated, worn down, and resigned to the way things are with his football program right now. We as fans don’t have the luxury of seeing or hearing what’s said behind closed doors, but we damn sure can see that Nick is different. He didn’t just stop throwing fits on the sideline because he thought it would help his PR.

We’ve played some guy named Musika for a big chunk of the half. He gets driven back a minimum of three yards every play. There are personnel issues in a major way. Yes there are major coaching issues too, which I stated.

As has been mentioned, this has rarely been the case for him in tight games.

Even so, he absolutely displayed that kind of fire in the iron bowl.

Chris Allen hasn’t done much

Had a couple nice pass rushes but you are right...not much so far. I may have been wrong on this kid . Still think he has some ability . If not I wished they would slide him inside with Harris and see what he could do. Lee is a liability at this point

Somethings definitely off with Saban. Y’all don’t think he might decide to walk away??? I mean he really doesn’t have anything else left to prove really. I just feel like somethings off with the program/Saban. He is very different from just two years ago.

Musika was taken from JuCo for depth purposes, and now he's playing serious minutes due to injury and ineffectiveness.

Barmore has no motor out there either, he gets absorbed because isn't beating anyone on the snap.

Guys, this isn't rocket science.

Saban gets mad when he thinks we aren't doing things we can do and a wake up call can shake things up.

Saban doesn't get mad when he thinks there is nothing that can be changed be yelling and screaming.

Right now, we are what we are.
