And he was sort of placed in a shitty situation today. Henry was cramping up, Drake got hurt, and then you throw in the Ryan Kelly injury.
Plus Mullaney didn't look the same after picking up some sort of knock early.

Ugh.
I don't agree with you but I will say that I think we should rarely if ever throw another pass behind the line of scrimmage. Our WR's aren't good enough blockers to spring them and they're so slow developing that they're getting blown up.
What happened to faking the throw into the flat and hitting the receiver down the sideline?

They're all equally terrible. I feel like the offense is underachieving relative to their talent because Kiffin isn't utilizing the talent properly. They need to line up Coker more under center. The running game just doesn't perform as well when they line up under shotgun. The forward pitch to the running back always seem to result in a negative play. The quick hitches and bubble screens also got to go. I've heard LSU fans complaining about it with Jimbo Fisher as their OC so Saban might actually be more to blame for those calls. Either way, they need to scrap those plays. It's okay to break it out every once in a while when the defense is blitzing and the DBs are on an island. It's another thing to have it be 1/3 of your route. They need to find a way to have a better intermediate passing game. It's disappointing how much the intermediate passing game has regressed since the Wisconsin game. Coker actually looked really good throwing those passes. I don't know what has happened but he needs to return to that form.
