I believe its the only way to beat them. We will be mostly healthy.

They're the best defense in the country by most metrics, so it will be hard and Grubb would need to stick to it even when it's not working as well as we want. So probably not.

I'm sure we'll put the game on Keelon's shoulders like we've done in every away game and completely shite ourselves over the first 2 quarters.

They've lost to both teams they've played that had any semblance of a functioning offense.

LSU does not have the best defense in the country. They have shut down really bad teams and given up over 30 against the 2 teams with a pulse they played (Ole Miss and UK) and lost both of them. Who is the best team they've beaten? Miss St w/o Kamario? TAMU?

Yeah if you ignore to context of who they have played, if there were injuries and how any team that was actually decent on offense did against their defense.

We just need to get healthy. If we can get our center and starting WR back we will get more consistency on offense. Would be nice to get our best RB back as well.

I said this about Tennessee too and they shut us the frick down, so I'm assuming nothing at this point.

Their defense is not a great matchup for us. They rush the passer really well with 4, and they have guys in the secondary that can man up. Both of their losses have also come on the road. Schematically this will be our most difficult opponent of the regular season when you factor everything in. They get after the QB as well as UT they just do it more from the edge than the interior.

Both of their losses are on the road and we have been extremely suspect offensively on the road for significant portions of road games.

Delgatty will be back, I'm not sure RCW will be.

They are good but dont think their front is as good as UT, if they are we are screwed.

Nobody has a DT like Weapon X at Tennessee but LSU has a VERY good front and has been wrecking OL rushing four. Not a great recipe for us.

I hate to think this, but the early LSU-3 1/2 point line looks to me to be one of the best bets I've seen this season.
It's gonna be tough leaving that number alone, but I am.

What does an established run game look like in this offense?

I think we CAN run some. We may have get a bit creative. I’m not a huge fan of gadget plays, partly because Grubb relied too much on them in the past but this year, he’s played it pretty straight with no gadget plays this year.

Might be time to break out a couple to manufacture some explosive plays? If we get a turnover in decent field position, we’ve got come away with points every time.

I hope our offense can score more points than our defense scores.

I understand that but what is not a good recipe for them is their weakness in secondary. The teams that beat them did so because they could throw the ball.

That front of theirs look much much better when they're playing teams which are very one-dimensional without a passer. They load up.

Look at the matchups where they had an actual passing threat and all of a sudden that front seven giving up 123 to CJ Baxter and last I checked we held him to under 40 but everyone here says we have no run defense.

Again, we just need to get our Center, WR and hopefully our best RB healthy and we will be explosive... even with Keelon messing up reads and Grubb trying to score a TD every play.

Let's get our starting center back, our superstar WR everyone here bashes as soft who makes defenses have to respect and double him and our out of this world freshman RB back then ask that question..

That or you can look at our games before they all got hurt and see us running on decent teams.
