If the plan is for him to move to center I wish he’d go there immediately. I know he played it a little Saturday, but that’s a spot that absolutely needs to be nailed down.

isn't he too tall for this position. Most want their centers to be shorter. Helps with leverage and allows the QB to see over him.

Yeah that's what it looks like to someone who doesn't understand his running style. Think Leveon Bell.

Even if he truly does tip toe to the line like a scared peewee kid like you say, he can approach the line however the frick he wants with the production he consistently gives us.

and we can take 2 yard losses too. No one has tried to say he doesn’t deserve to be the starter, but I prefer someone who hits the line full steam. you can prefer whatever the “frick” you want also

Iirc, Bama's most successful offensive lines had some fire in their bellies.

2012, I distinctly remember Fluker getting angry and ripping the other offensive lineman after a running play went nowhere in the third quarter against UGA. Bama proceeded to shove the ball down their throats on the next drive. That was the same year that Barret and McCarron got into it on the field against ND. I want to say I remember some offensive lineman getting an attitude in 2015 too. Which is the year that oline helped Henry win a Heisman.

It's somewhat bothered me the last few years how extensive the methodical and business-like approach our offensive linemen have, has been. Not allowing your emotions to control you is all well and good, but not having any fire 99% of the time, makes it hard to turn on that mean streak when you need it. Especially when you need that extra push on a 4th and 1 late in the 4th quarter when you're exhausted.

So far, I like Dickerson. This team needs some personality. Nick got mad at the refs because he wants the kids to have fun. Well, to have fun requires personality, and it's nice to see some.

Some of y'all are too old school for your own good. Hell, I'm half expecting someone to start saying the players are getting soft because they are allowed to drink water during practice.

Barry Sanders took 2 yard loses sometimes, so what?

Actually, yes, some folks on here are saying just that.

Luckily for the team, the coaches prefer Najee's style.

The play was already dead and a Bama player has to tug at his jersey to get him to walk off the field.

The guy tried to stomp on Dickerson while Dickerson was on the ground. I had no issue with him waving "bye" to him when he got ejected.

Luckily they preferred Jacobs style of busting it wide open last year to Najee’s

Jacobs was underused and likely a decade talent. Had he been primary the sky was the limit. He not only sought out contact but enjoyed it. He was about as savage as they come. I can think of 6 absolute destruction of defensive players he had and actually hurt people running through them. Crazy stuff.

I would change the Line this week to...

LT: Leatherwood
LG: Neal
C: Dickerson
RG: Womack
RT: Wills

Well, seeing as how they got about the same amount of carries last season,(Harris had almost a yard and a half more ypc than Jacobs) it looks like they preferred both. Jacobs is a beast obviously, and so is Harris. Why are we ignoring reality here?

Count me on the Dickerson train. The 2012 version that gets thrown around so much would pancake you will no apologies. Chance Warmack and Fluker were warriors that set the tone in our biggest games and biggest moments. I'll take all the alpha-males on this team we can get.

On the previous play, Duke ran the same twist on the other side and Neal got burned for the sack
