guys to win one on one matchups . He doesn’t help our playmakers at all
I've been around some pretty good OC's in my time coaching.. one guy always had a saying "players, not plays". Football is all about winning your one on one matchups.. that's literally the game in a nut shell. Whether it's a DB vs a WR, or a DL vs an OL.. if a RB is in space vs 1 defender he should "make a man miss".

Next year if BoB is still around we will get to see a possible horror show or a coming of age. Either way he will prove his worth or confirm our fears. Outside of unforeseen portal QBs coming in and Bryce leaving (sry no more Bryce Dr. Pepper commercials) next year will be a real rebuilding year. The last time we were in this situation at QB was starting out Blake Barnett vs Hurts et. al. ?2015.
Ever since the heir apparent at QB has been a known commodity (borderline in Mac jones year.) Nature of the game I guess hard to believe how well saban does it year in and out.

Just throwing in my two cents on Jalen and if he’s a good qb. I am not as knowledgeable as uiu guys when it comes to players assessment but I watch a lot of football in the last 40 years. At this point , he’s definitely not. But sometimes it takes awhile and requires significant game experience.
The one example I will give is Josh Allen in the NFL.
Hopefully Milroe will grow for next year and we don’t need him this year!

I would assume Saban breaks down every play of all three phases of the game, and I would also assume he sits with the Staff of all three to watch it as well. He probably is walked through every play call that he doesnt like or understand and the Staff has to defend it or explain it. Do we honestly think if Saban had a real problem with the offensive playcalling that he wouldn't make a change? Or is it more likely that us as fans arent as smart as we think and the staff is doing a pretty damn good job?

I think the latter, but that’s just me.
Saban knows what he’s doing and is into every little details in his so call company”.
IMHO

Me too but a coach can scheme players open or make defenses make choices in coverage and help get players in space to win those one on one matchups … don’t see a lot of that from BOB this year

Exactly. Players have to execute the plays, but coaches have to put them in positions where they are the most likely to be successful. That's my big issue with how the offense was handled Saturday. It just didn't feel like they were doing enough to make it as easy as they could on Milroe.

I accidently used the women's restroom in the airport once. There's a backstory. JFK to LAX. 5.5 hour flight, the sensation to rip a deuce hits me somewhere over the midwest. No chance then, now or ever am I going number 2 on a plane. I hold it, we land, we exit, I burst into the first bathroom I see. Crisis averted. At some point, despite the damage I'm doing, I say to myself it smells like perfume in here. Then it happened. I see a pair of heels walk past under the stall door. Relief turned to panic and confusion. I rode it out and eventually escaped unnoticed...I think. I say all that to say this. BOB may not be a great choice but I'm committed to it. Because I have to be. Even if there's some less than awesome moments along the way.

Why wouldn't he have anxiety. He isn't that good right now, when he has played we have chosen to run instead of letting him run the offense and now when we need him to perform we put him in drop back situations he doesn't have the accuracy to successfully execute.
If he was struggling with easy reads then that is still on who his coach has been the last two years because he hasn't been coached up.
