So is “lock” going to come in and try and resurrect Jalen’s career?

I don’t think it was a loyalty to a player, I think it was a we have to have plays he can run if saban wont let Tua in. More necessities if you will.

You're damn right he is. He'll have Jalen a All-SEC RB/TE in no time.

I don't think his head coaching tenure really has anything to do with it. Much like Kiffin at USC.

I mean, Kiffin wasn't great at USC but he inherited a ton of sanctions and did ok. I just think when you've never won more than 1 game in a season as a head coach, it speaks to some level to your ability to manage things. And a coordinator has to manage way more than a position coach does.

Terry Joseph was in TTown today but he is a DB coach

Hmm. You think he takes over DB’s and Golding takes ILB’s?

Locksley went 1-11 twice.

As a head coach, yes. That position is not open at the University of Alabama, though. We're looking for an OC.

That’s what I can’t get around. Most offensive coordinators are generally intelligent competent people. Is he?

He had a lot of limitations he wasn’t the OC. He was given just a small amount of input for the plays. Daball wanted to play Tua sooner but Saban wasn’t convinced. That was part of their problem. Lots of things I couldn’t say but I don’t think Daball was wrong, and obviously we know now.

I don't believe you've taken the statement the way it was meant.

Locksley, Enos, or Fisch would all be excellent OC hires. And, frankly I believe all three would be great for QB development. And, yes Tua AND Jalen both need to be developed more.

Key word.. Develop both QBs.. something Daboll didn't really do this past season.

Correct, Daball wanted his offense his way regardless of if it fit insert QB. We know now who it was intended for and exposed the talent Tua is.

Exactly. QB development or the lack thereof was apparent this season. Even some of the "freshman" mistakes Tua made in the championship game I think are mistakes that could've been cleaned up by the last game of the season had we had an OC that was developing the QBs.

It really boils down to this and I’ve heard this from several folks. Daball is used to the NFL, a QB coach, a more refined process with quite a few older guys around. College is just different and he didn’t like it. Daball had a winning plan for the offense but didn’t have control of his QB selection.

I thought douche baggery went out with the 80s, but I guess the faux "i'm a tough guy cause I talk crap and then blame you for not 'takin' it like a man'" schtick will always be go to for some dim wit chumps who take youtube lessons on how to be an "Alpha Male".
