Look, I don't have a problem with you personally, I just don't like people being called names for sharing their opinion. Opinions are the only reason why we are here.

Some folks around here would love to hire McElwain and run our offense from 2008-2013. Ain’t happening.

I don't have a problem with you personally either, or anyone else on here. And I'm sorry if I hurt someone's fellings with the word "dumbasses".

However, I'd expect a football forum populated with Southerners to be a much, much, much more thick-skinned group, and I conduct myself with that expectation.

Is it the whole millenial thing? Are folks just that soft nowadays? (Not an insult. Really asking.)

I guess. I just act here the same way I do with my buddies, and we give each other hell.

EDIT: But I am a bit of an arse IRL.

Coach Mac is damaged goods now. I think it would be a disaster with recruits. I'd rather have Freeze

Why can't you simply state that you disagree with posts and state your reasons without calling the posters dumb asses?

Childish name calling accomplishes nothing good. It just derails threads into petty pissing contests.

They need to be cool, calm, and collected like me.

You peoples shouldn't be so opinionated.

But I'm not on the Freeze bandwagon. There's a whole terminal of baggage with Freeze.

do you guys think this board would have wanted Coach Stallings when he was hired?? uhm, No.

Locksley may be a great OC here...we know he can recruit.
So do you hire a fisch or Enos as Co-OC to help him out and IF it doesn't work out, you have a guy ready to step in.

I 100% agree with you on this. I say much worse to my friends, but I don't assume to know these folks on here like that. I guess we just approach things differently on here.

I thought it was a terrible hire, but I was young and still bitter about Bobby Bowden. No one would have made me happy

Because I'm not a giant PC vagina who goes around trying not to offend anyone. Sometimes I do offend people. Sometimes on accident, and sometimes on purpose.

Some comments I believe to be worthy of a "dumbasses". You disagree, and I respect that.

But the crux was explain earlier. I would think most folks on here would have tougher skin.

Recruiting is important. But we’ve had sucky offenses with great talent. It can be done. We’ve proven you can have an offense full of four and five start players that can’t convert 3rd downs against teams made up of three star players.

We need a competent OC. Is Locksley? Maybe. But he wasn’t a competent head coach (2-26) and he is a bad arse recruiter, so I fear he may be lacking in the player development and schematics Department

Was well in the past, was at a crap school, has been learning from the best, and has done a good job for us.

Big ole check mark.

How does this assumption relate at all to what you say before? That "so" must be there for a reason.
