He was terrible tonight. Why he kept calling plays that resulted in negative results over and over, knowing damn well it wasn't working. he was stubborn tonight. he went away from what was working and tried to force a square inside a triangle.

He is not a good fit...

Bama did put up 571 yards and 52 points so I’m not going to say it was terrible. They also had some drops, pass protecting issues (Owens ahem), and a turnover by Williams. Not going to put that on him. His playcalling was inconsistent. They looked unstoppable on many drives but had quite a few drives where nothing worked.

Play calling does seem strange and always a struggle. Although he got results if you look at the final score and the detailed stats.

It is SO tough to quickly answer: ‘what is the identity of this offense?’

Really a head scratcher. Bryce is such a star, and it’s tough to think about this offense without him.

If he can stop calling plays behind the line of scrimmage on 1st down I'll be pretty ok with everything else.

we were more effective with a quicker tempo and shorter passing. Slow developing plays hurt us. We need to go with quick passes more often. First down was a mess...so many negative plays...even 3 or 4 yards would be better...but we lost yardage on probably half the first downs we had. BoB isn't Sark unfortunately..he seems to have more hubris about his ability.

I wouldn't say he's terrible, but he's not as good as what we've been accustomed to.

The bigger problem is our personnel. Our receivers suck at catching the ball - that's a problem.
Our RT is absolute trash. - that's a problem.

Slade Bolden is slow and small. He doesn't scare anyone.

I mean our roster is stacked full of nothing but 4 and 5 stars. I don't understand why Saban never gives other guys an opportunity when the starters are consistently fricking up. It makes no sense.

How bad could Agiye Hall really be?
Trey Sanders is a beast, and it's so inexplicable that he's not getting playing time, that fans have convinced themselves that he's injured even though he's not.

There's gotta be somebody on our roster that would be a better RT, but we all know that's never gonna happen.

We have the players on the roster, but they're not on the field.

Had a 300 yard passer, two 100 yard receivers and a 100 yard rusher.

Young had over 400 yards of total offense.

Last years team ruined it for future teams . Aside from couple calls in the TAM game , I think he is doing a great job with what he has to work with, avg OL, good but not explosive back, and above average WRs who are getting better at YAC as the season goes on

We just need one of the young offensive tackles to step up, receivers to quit dropping balls and the secondary to quit doing their Kecalf "Burnt Toast" Bailey impressions.

Meh, dropped passes, lazy routes, and OL issues is all I see wrong with the offense. They do need to get better though because this team will live and die with the offense this year, and it's not gonna be easy when we face team with elite pass rushers.

If Young can continue to develop his running game that'll go a long way to helping this poor OL out.

look at the calls before jameison's big catch in the 4th qtr.

also dont get why robinson was dancing around so much, seemed very tentative and slow today.

BAMA needs to call Lane and tell him to come call plays for Saban. Coach in waiting. Pay him $5m/year then $10m when Saban retires.

Also, could somebody get Pruitt on the phone?

He was fine. First couple of drives to open the second half were very NFLish but Nick got on the mic and straightened it out
